Arranged a donation, got the sms to tell us the van would be arriving soon just as the guy drove off without picking anything up. Waste of time. Don't bother with these guys. Items will have to go to the tip now. Also a waste of resources. We don't have time to rearrange anything else before moving house.

This shop is amazing, great range of products which are good quality and well presented. Staff and volunteers are extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Our questions were answered professionally and clearly and prices were very reasonable. You are a real asset to your local community.

When I walked in I was greeted by very kind and friendly staff ready to help, I only purchased a microwave for a friend. And when I went to pick it up the staff were very helpful and polite asking me do I need a bag and they even brought one from upstairs to be big enough for the microwave and made sure it was secure with tape. Overall very helpful and polite and there are some great deals in there as well. 100% recommend for people with a small budget looking for good quality items and all of the electronics are tested and they are all working before being sold so no duds or faults, so you know what your buying. Totaly recommend and will definitely be going back there.

I used this branch to organise a complete house clearance. 3 beds, wardrobes, draws, sofa, table and chairs. Also about 30 boxes of assorted clothes and home ware. There was a charge (£391 in my case, this was dependent on the possible resale value of furniture items). The communication was good, the assessment and delivery teams turned up when they said they would and collected the items without any fuss. I hope that most of the things donated are of good enough quality for them to be made available in the shop. In any case I know that for the amount that was taken away I would have paid more with a professional house clearance company, and I have the hope that my items will raise money for a good cause.

Have donated furniture before to BHF Furniture, Walthamstow, no problem. Tried to donate a large 6/8 place wooden kitchen table in need of a little TLC but still worth £70/£80/£100, it would sell. People would accept that for a reduced price. REFUSED AT THE DOOR firstly by the driver and then by the manager of the shop. Disgusted. BHF Furniture are VERY "selective"/"picky" in the donations they accept these days. Very disappointed.

Great service! You can find all sort of furnitures that suit all tastes, from modern to vintage, from expensive to cheap ones. Sonny helped us finding the perfect items as well as keeping us smiley! Delivery service was impeccable and the drivers were very kind and helped us moving the furniture around. Highly recommended!

Terrible service. I tried to donate a bed with mattress. It was arranged to be donated the day before my flat sale went through. The mattress was foam with a zip-on cover. The cover had some minor stains, that would almost certainly come out in the wash, but I couldn't wash it because it would destroy the fire label and I knew they wouldn't take it without seeing the label intact. When they rang me up to arrange the collection time I explained this to the woman on the phone and she said 'Don't worry, if you explain that to the collection team they'll definitely collect it.' If she hadn't said that then I would have found another way to pass the furniture on, eg freecycling it, as I did with some of my other furniture that I knew they wouldn't want. When the team came around to collect it this morning, they refused to take it because of the stains. They dismissed what the woman on the phone said because 'She's a volunteer and not authorised to make that decision.' They also agreed with me that washing it would have cleared the stains while destroying the fire label, but said 'We don't wash things.' All they could do was promise they'd report back to the branch and get someone to ring me that day. I emailed the store to reinforce the need to ring me, and tried ringing/left a voicemail as soon as the office opened. But no call back, in spite of what was promised. The end result is I was left with a large object in my flat that I had to get rid of immediately with no easy way to do so, during a week day.
