I purchased a mattress from the Bedpost in Sidcup today and had the best experience and support making my purchase. Brian was knowledgeable about all the mattresses and struck the right balance between advising and listening to my needs. I felt I had as much time as I needed to make a decision and left a very happy customer. Well done Bedpost!
I went in and told the guy that I was looking for a FIRM mattress due to my bad back. He said that I didn't need a firm mattress, but what I needed was "support". So he sold me the "Silverleight 4000". At no point he made me aware that this mattress was a SOFT one. I would have never bought it if I knew that. I am now unable to return or exchange it dur to "hygiene" reasons. Given that most other retailers offer at least a 30 days trial period, there is no reason to buy from them. Avoid it. EDIT: I am adding a screen shot of the website to confirm that the mattress in question is indeed listed as SOFT.
I could not rate my experience of buying from Bedpost Sidcup highly enough. From meeting the wonderful Trevor whose knowledge and professionalism are first class. What he doesn’t know about beds isn’t worth knowing and he didn’t over sell them! Upon delivery unfortunately the divan base was scuffed (nothing to do with Bedpost). The delivery person rang immediately to request a replacement. Once again I was treated with outstanding professionalism and care. And finally, within half an hour I received a phone call confirming that a new divan base had been ordered. I am so glad I purchased from a local company and not through a National firm. If you want first class customer service then Bed Post is by far the best place to shop. A huge thank you to all those involved x
I cannot fault the service that I received. Trevor was excellent in helping me to work out what I did need and what I did not need. He helpfully unpacked for me the pros/cons of different options allowing me to make up my own mind. Having the order fulfilled and delivered around my commitments and other challenges was also great - I would thoroughly recommend!
The staff at the bedpost are always extremely helpful l, friendly and will always genuinely find you the best mattress for your needs. I took delivery on time, they were efficient, friendly and carried the mattress upstairs and removed the old one. Office staff also went above and beyond to. Couldn’t fault them.

Bought a bed from here. Never flipped the mattress. 2 years later I died in my sleep. 3 stars as it's partially my fault for not flipping it.
After being disappointed by the range and price of the big bed chains, we were very pleased to find the Bed Post. We were served by a very helpful gentleman who gave us good advice and we never felt pressured to spend more than we wanted to. Delivery was on time and the bed is of excellent quality.
