My 95 year old mother bought curtains here and somehow managed to get ones that were way too big . Despite going back boxing day to return them the staff seemed happy, attentive and generally lovely people. Changed the curtains without any issues
Shocking exchange policy. A simple Christmas gift exchange for an unopened product was refused by Dartford staff and manager on the 31st December stating “it’s our policy” I drove 15 miles to do the exchange. Absolutely no compassion, no flexibility and a terrible customer experience. Avoid
Place to fill your home. There are quite a lot of home products to choose from. Beddings, mirrors, lights, wall covering, rugs, kitchenwares, tablewares, etc. I am not sure if its always like this but parking is quite busy
Incredibly poor customer service at this store. I only wanted to grab a couple of paint roller trays (which were available for click and collect in-store within 2 hours) but couldn’t find anyone to help me find them on the first floor. So I went downstairs to a group of 3-4 workers (which I shall refer to as “the gaggle”) and managed to draw attention away from their group conversation long enough to ask a question. I conversed with a young lady who has been touched by fire (red hair) as to where I might find said roller trays. Before I even had a chance to finish my sentence, I was met with “if it’s not there we don’t have it sorry”. Alas, I persevered and showed the young lady that according to the website, I could order the trays online (available in store) and collect them in just a couple of hours, so it could be possible that there may be some in the back (or in a different part of the shop). The young lady of fire told me to wait up by the decorating section and she would send her colleague to help me. I went back upstairs and awaited assistance. This turned out to be a fruitless endeavour, as no one came to help me in my hour of need. As I leaned over the bannister, pondering my waste of time on a Monday afternoon, I spotted the gaggle of workers on the ground floor, moving in unison throughout the shop. It then became apparent to me that two things happen at this store; The workers like to move in herds, and they have no desire to help out a paying customer. This has vexed me terribly, and although this is my first visit to the shop, it shall certainly be my last. Good day!!!!!!!!
Been in the shop a load of times now, Generally it’s a good experience, there’s a nice woman usually on the tills, she’s got half an arm, she’s cool to talk to, always polite and chatty when serving

First time shopping at Dunelm and will never shop here again. We bought made to measure curtains. Spent over a grand and the service was appalling. No updates on when they would be in by. We had to chase them and when the curtains were in we was told 1 of the sets was not there as they was in the Oxford branch. Waited 5 weeks for these which was much longer than we expected so could not move into our new house as had no curtains. We was very shocked of this service. Would not be recommending
Store very good but be careful as parking is limited to one and half hours. After buying over £200 in store and eating lunch we left not realising parking limit. A fine came through sand we were given half a day to sort at lower charge, no time to think or object so we paid. Dunelm we’re not prepared to help as find had been paid. BEWARE OF TIME LIMIT.
Went for a coffee in pausa the lady on the tills with glasses is very rude. She chats to her friends in the que and leaves us waiting not taking our order until she is done with her conversation. Very rude and unprofessional. Pausa lost a customer.
