I received amazing service from start to finish. I was kept up to date and nothing was too much. Jasmine and Cheyenne were professional and very knowledgeable! I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I would definitely recommended this firm especially those two.

Emma and Kori of HSR Law Gainsborough, both did an excellent job selling my property. I was kept informed every step of the way and any queries I had were promptly replied. Extremely professional throughout the process and the sale went very smoothly. I can highly recommend them!

Awful β€˜law firm’ - do not instruct to act on your behalf!! We signed up to HSR law through ASAP Purchase, via our estate agents. They were a nightmare to deal with from start to finish. Within 3 minutes of receiving an invoice for searches, we paid it. Five weeks later, still no contact regarding the searches or any results. I tried to reach our solicitor Alison 34 times in the 3 months that they were acting on our behalf at not once was the call answered or even returned. I was even asked at one point what date our purchasing property was built!!!! That’s why I’ve been paying you!! It took me paying to obtain building completion certificates from the council to realise that the house we were purchasing had been incorrectly listed and planning permission did not match with the number of erected dwellings in the property. On the day prior to completion we heard nothing from the solicitor. No confirmation that our funds had been released by our mortgage provider or even a guide of what to expect on a completion day. We heard nothing on completion day except for a generic email when our house has sold and another at 4pm when our house had sold. Absolutely rubbish avoid avoid avoid. If you want a personal service, with swift responses and kind updates look elsewhere

really poor, steer clear. We used these guys due a friend knowing one of the partners and its fair to say the experience was very poor. Communication was terrible throughout, we were buying a new build and were on friendly terms with the builder, so we were able to liaise directly. He shared the lack of pace and response from HSL, this meant we continually had to chase them to get updates for him and when there was any problems they (HSL) wouldn't pick up the phone to call the builders solicitor, they preferred to send a chargeable correspondence. As a result of their lack of progress there was a risk the chain would fall apart, thankfully we got there in the end. I suspect like many solicitors they dont actually do any work on the move until the latter stages, last minutes seraches etc. The cost was far more than we anticipated, so if you do insist on going with them make sure you agree on a fixed cost, but considered advice would be to avoid and go elsewhere

Our family appointed HSR Law to handle a house sale and Katie Pendlebury from the Doncaster branch was assigned to work on the transaction. When things did not work out with our first buyer, Katie was quick to send us the invoice for the aborted transaction, which our family swiftly settled. However, when we contacted Katie for her support again after a new buyer was identified, she never responded to our family's multiple messages nor phone calls. There were no out-of-office auto replies and when I called the office, Beverly from the reception said Katie was engaged in meetings and she would leave Katie a message, so we assumed she was at work and chose not to reply to our emails, which was appalling. We were happy to appoint a new law firm, but I just wish they would tell us one way or another sooner, rather than leaving us waiting for over a week with radio silence. Also, we found out the Law Society forms that Katie sent us were the 2020 edition (we are in 2025). Not sure if it would affect the outcome but this goes to show her lack of experience and professionalism. We are extremely disappointed with the experience and want those who are searching for a solicitor to be aware. Let's see if they will respond to my review here, for a change! We are keen to know why Katie never replied.

Alison Teasdale and Louise Allardyce have been brilliant in supporting us with conveyancing services for our recent move. They came in half way through the process when our previous solicitors went out of business and kept us moving forward with prompt responses to emails whenever necessary. We always felt they were very much β€˜on our side’ and had our best interests at heart even when we tried to push things on perhaps a bit too quickly! Thank you very much guys, we would recommend you to anyone.

Conveyancing solicitors often have a poor reputation - associated with inefficiency and red tape. I can categorically say this wasn't our experience with Ryan (ably supported by Hannah) at HSR law! From the outset, the process was made clear through a really useful step-by-step document. Information was shared in a timely manner and in a format that could be understood. Issues were dealt with quickly, and the whole process of selling and buying went through as quickly as was possible. Ryan was personable, down to earth and demonstrated excellent professional knowledge. The fees represented good value for money and were shared from the start. I would heartily recommend Ryan and HSR Law to others.

I was recommended to use HSR Law by my mortgage adviser and they have been absolutely brilliant throughout. I have used them for buying my first house and as well selling my late dads house. They have been very helpful always and would answer my emails and questions very quickly. A big thank you to Amy Fields and the rest of the team!

Excellent professional service from first commencement of the conveyance process, to completion. Other than a few minor queries from the buyers solicitors, all matters were quickly resolved by our very professional solicitor at HSR Law. I can highly recommend for any legal matters. Many thanks again for a great, stress free handling of our property sale

I have using this firm for many years. In fact when they were called Atkinson & Taylor about 35 years ago. Some of partners are still there. Me and my family have used them for domestic as well commercial transaction. I have found them very professional but at the same time very friendly and approachable. You may have heard people say you don't know how good a Company is, unless something goes wrong. The main thing being how they sorted it. I had this about 2 years ago with HSR Law. It was sorted within hours to my full satisfaction. We just used them to deal with my late mother in law estate and probate. They were FANTASTIC. Rachel, Tina and Louise dealt with it. I am a fussy client, I know. They kept us fully informed all the way through the process. Which not many other solicitors do in my experience. We would never ever think of changing solicitors.
