First experience didn't prove itself too well. Having hastily ordered from the short menu ("kitchen was closing", we were informed), the steak was unswallowable and the braised ox cheek was excessively salty. The staff were gracious enough to deduct the cost of our mains. Lovely venue for our bottle of wine though.

Very much so catfishing on its social media. A waitress who was not in the slightest bit interested and opted to look elsewhere when we were ordering our food (when they eventually decided to come to our table 15 minutes after our arrival). One waitress asked the other to serve us - both looked excruciatingly disenthused. Every question was far too big for them to even answer usefully or politely. We had to ask for our drinks that hadn’t arrived by the time our mains were served.. Our starter didn’t turn up at all, mind you. Staff moving tables around quite noisily. There were 2 waiters who were much kinder, thankfully! The food was fine but a medium rare steak was also too much of an ask apparently. Unsurprisingly did not stay for dessert.

Cabernet & Caberet Lovely entertaining evening. Food was ok, cocktails were delicious! The two guys performing were really good. Fantastic voices, extensive repertoire and they handled some overexcited audience participation like total pro's ❤️

We booked this restaurant for my birthday and had a very disappointing experience. We brought a birthday cake, as I’ve done many times in other restaurants, and it sat on the table for the entire visit with no acknowledgement or offer to store it in the fridge. My friend had suggested we leave because the waitress was very rude and was showing no respect and courtesy at all. we stayed unfortunately and thought we just take it easy as she may just have a serious personality. But she was very impatient and not willing to explain the difference between the steak night menu and the other steaks on the menu. Later, when I asked for a lighter to light the candles, the waitress and her colleague refused and said that if anything happened to us as a result of having the cake, it would be their responsibility. But honestly, the lack of hospitality and the repeated attitude genuinely got to me. I had enjoyed this place in the past, but with the current staff, I will not return and cannot recommend it. I haven’t still processed what she told me at the end! She apologised for not offering lightener and she said they may end up going to prison if act otherwise. Why did I even book this place?!!! I am honestly traumatised and can’t forget about this!

Issac's is just a little slice of perfect in an otherwise busy and bustling area of Birmingham, the food is always exemplary, the service spectacular and the atmosphere although quite noisy this time around was still great! If I could change one thing about this restaurant would be smaller round tables really aren't suitable for the dining experience.

Been a few times now. I love the interior vibe but importantly the food is great. It's a great place to take friends from out of town to a nicer restaurant!

We came for dinner for the first time for our anniversary on Thursday, the restaurant is so beautiful. Even walking to the toilets feels super fancy, everything looks great and in a weird way, makes you feel like you're on holiday walking through the lobby part - which I love. The food was excellent, all staff were so nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back, well worth the money.
