   I have nothing but great things to say about Victoria's work on a legal matter for me. I live in the U.S. but needed a Solicitor in the UK to help me with a Statutory Declaration and Change of name Deed. It was a very smooth experience that required dealing with time zone issues and fast approaching deadline for me to receive the documents. Communication was friendly, clear and quick resulting in Victoria getting everything to me in time including hard copies being airmailed to me. Very satisfied client.

   Following from the below review ( Nick O’Brien) I have been in the process of trying to sell my house. I used wake smith as my solicitors when I initially bought my house. I was recommended to use these solicitors again by my estate agents as it was the best option to take. It’s been over 7 weeks since they had my case to progress, but nothing has been done to progress my sale forward due to them not registering my deeds properly onto the land registry from when I initially bought my house. Due to a missing plan from my plot they aren’t able to complete the deed to send to land registry. This should of all been done when I bought my house in the first instance. Not to mention when I bought my house they messed up with the plot number and postcode which resulted in a further wait time. My house sale should of been progressing nicely along by now but I haven’t been able to do anything because of the error they have made. I am not able to progress my sale until my title is on the land registry which could take a further 6 weeks! In turn this could result in my buyers pulling out as it’s taking too long. I’m so disappointed by the service I have received especially because I didn’t know the extent of this until a few weeks ago. When I spoke to them they said it could be 6 months before completion. Last week I had to take the initiative to move solicitors. I would of thought that due to their error they would of made my case a priority. I’ve had to chase multiple times to get an answer on the status. Very disappointed ☹️ Joanne C & Anne E dealt with the case.
