   Had the most appalling experience with this company. Would highly recommend you avoid them at all costs. Instructed Nicola as our solicitor, never once actually spoke to her or got an email response from her. Her secretary Michelle was very rude on several occasions via email and in person. We spoke to other people at the company who were dismissive and rude. We waited weeks for a reply to even the simplest of emails. All in all using them made our first time buying experience a very stressful one. In the end our sale fell through due to the sellers pulling out, so we are now buying another properly using a different solicitor, which has highlighted the horrendous customer service we received. Now we get a reply to our emails the same day, they are always polite and professional and it feels like they are working for us. GM Wilson make you feel as though you are a burden and they are doing you a favour, not that you are paying them hundreds of pounds. It is without a doubt the worst experience we have had with any supposedly professional company.

   I have just used GM Wilson for selling my house and purchasing our new one after being passed on to them by Jones Homes who we bought our new house from. The service was excellent and we were kept informed throughout and everything was handled quickly and efficiently. We never needed to chase them up about anything and it all went very smoothly. Unfortunately can't say the same about our buyers solicitors who were terrible, but GM Wilson have been fantastic for us and we got completed on the day Jones Homes said the house would be ready to move in to. Special shout out to Lucy Standhaven who I had the most dealings with, she was lovely and very efficient and got the job sorted. I would definitely use them again.

   We part exchanged on a new build and the support and service received from the team (particularly Lucy S) was amazing. We were kept well informed, all my questions were quickly answered, and we were reassured throughout the whole process. Lucy helped us in securing a number of things to help make the move much less stressful with the builders. I'd definitely recommend GM Wilson if you're thinking of buying/selling a home. They are really competitively priced too for the above and beyond service.
