   I'm upset with Foys because I phoned them twice to ask if they could help with buying a house, both times they said they would love too and would get the solicitor to contact me but they never did, so after waisting a week waiting I decided to try another company which phoned me back the same day, so I went with them and given up on Foys

   I have recently had 2 occasions where I used the services of Foys. Firstly my wife and I needed to update our wills. Pauline Warburton listened to our requirement and produced our wills following a draft review. This was in a timely manner and both my wife and I was happy with the outcome. The second occasion I needed advice with respect to Probate. Sally Marriott advised and guided me through the process with ease. I am very thankful to Sally and can recommend Foys for these services.

   I would not recommend Foy’s Solicitors based on my experience dealing with Andrea. I was purchasing a property from a family member—an extremely straightforward, chain-free transaction that began in September. Despite the simplicity of the case, communication was slow and inconsistent throughout. I had to chase for updates repeatedly, and even after signing all documents and completing the necessary searches, I was left in the dark with only vague timelines like “completion during March.” At times, it genuinely felt like I wasn’t paying for a service at all. There was no urgency, no proactive communication, and no clarity—only delays and frustration. If you value professionalism and reliable support during what is already a stressful process, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

   They have breached data protection multiple times and like to put others lifes on hold because they think there job is to hard! When they dont meet deadlines I kid you not their excuse is its to hard to do within that time after having months to send 1 email. An email they had already sent to the wrong person, all they had to do was press forward but it was to hard for them. They lost documents, extremely important documents, they blamed it on the person employing them to only find out they had left unsecured in a reception draw for 3 month, which is a breach of data protection. When it has come to completion day of buying a house they have stopped replying to other solicitors they should he working alongside with. They are lucky I have to give them 1 star becuase they definitely dont deserve it.
