   A Company Lacking Personal Connection - I can see others have left 5★ reviews, but my experience felt impersonal. The team seems too large to offer the support and communication I’ve received from previous solicitors. I received email communication (never telephone calls) from at least 5 different people, which made it unclear who was dealing with my property purchase and resulted in some messages left unanswered. Thank god for Chat GPT who helped me pick over the bones of the numerous unexplained legal documents that I received. Overall, the process felt disconnected as though I was dealing with an online company so with that I wouldn’t use them again personally.

   We were selling our flat and our estate agent recommended Switalskis for the conveyancing. We went with them for their good reviews, being a local company, and also because they gave us a competitive quote. From offer to exchange and completion took exactly 12 weeks, which was much quicker than I expected, and Switalskis did a great job. If there were any delays, it was more with the buyer's solicitors than Switalskis - they helped make it probably about as smooth as it could be! Everyone we worked with was very friendly and helpful, and all our inquiries were answered quickly throughout the process. I had the sense that they were really on top of it and pushing the process forward at every opportunity - we never had to chase them. Apart from the initial paperwork it was a very hands-off process which is exactly what we wanted. They worked well with our estate agent (Haus) and I think this really helped the process run smoothly. Definitely recommended!

   We received a fantastic service from these solicitors. Especially Lily, who I felt was extremely helpful and professional. We were very anxious as I didn't have a clue how to buy a house and Lily and the team did an exemplary job at making everything happen as it should. I will recommend them to anyone buying or selling a house and will certainly use them again myself. The quote at the beginning which was given free no obligation was also honoured and this was a huge weight off of our minds. They always answered the phone or called us back and the email speed was also fast. Thank you Lily and the whole team for making our house buying process so much easier and even after the completion once we moved in helping us with a couple of things. All the best for the future!

He handled details of my case with extreme sensitivity to my past experience. To me it seemed like Toby had no other cases to deal with and he clearly had many. He never forgot a thing about me or my case. He never made me feel like a case folder - he made me feel like a friend he wanted to help. What more could a woman ask for?
