    Our kitchen is finished and it looks amazing! I was slightly worried by the reviews but I thought I would see for myself. Initial appointment was fantastic, the service was the best me and my wife had and yes we did the rounds. We finally agreed a price and placed our deposit and they couldn’t do enough. Derek Day was our designer and he was brilliant. He put together something different from the rest and it worked perfectly. Slightly over our budget but the people we dealt with (few people I didn’t speak to) made us feel welcome and was always at hand to answer questions, make slight changes where we wanted it and even assisted our builder/kitchen installer as he doesn’t usually use them. Simply fantastic service! One bit of feedback they seem to be understaffed a lot of the time and Aaron never seems to have a day off. I think Magnet need to look into this having one manager seems a lot for one person but they work hard and I certainly felt looked after. You made our experience one worth shouting loud about.     Updated Review: Kitchens are a significant investment, and I would strongly advise against purchasing from a company that shows no integrity, no customer service, and no willingness to take responsibility for its own faulty products. Another ten months have passed since my original review below—which was the only thing that prompted the manager Aaron to take any action at all. Even after again confirming that the items were defective, they still have not been replaced. It is truly baffling that I’ve had to chase this issue for four years, especially when Magnets acknowledged from the start that the fault was theirs. The blame for years of delay is repeatedly placed on "Head Office" but if that’s accurate, it means the entire organisation has little regard for its customers. This experience has been beyond disappointing and, worse than that, extremely stressful for someone with two young children. Original review: do not buy a kitchen from Magnets. Two years after installation our kitchen began delaminating and warping. After trying to blame the fitters, a manager came in person to look and said it was clearly a manufacturing issue (other reviews have said they have experience the same problems). TWO years on they have not replaced the kitchen and the manager Aron ignores our emails. Both product quality and customer service don't exist. Avoid

    Avoid this store and magnet! We started with magnet for our new kitchen in February, full installation. It took until August to start the installation. This was entirely delays due to magnet. After receiving deposit they ignore everything, claim things are done which they later, themselves, say hasn't been done. Their installers took 2 weeks, and couldn't finish our tiny kitchen. Their workmanship was so poor magnet are now having to rip out almost the entire kitchen and replace it (2 cupboards of many aren't damaged). The store were completely useless during this process. Special shout out to Terry the designer who shrugged his shoulders and denied he had anything to do with anything (customer care later confirmed he was indeed the person who should be been responsible). The manager Aaron also refuses to respond to contact. He asked us to pay some items directly to the installer, and magnet would pay us back (all in writing of course). This was over £2000. It is now over 4 weeks later after he told us it was actioned 'in the queue'. We have received nothing, and he is ghosting all attempts at contact. This store is so poor at communication even the Magnet central office said they are impossible to contact and don't reply to emails etc. So, 6 weeks after installation started we have a kitchen installed so badly they have to rip it out and start again. Magnet even keep delaying this so will only start in a further 2 weeks, they refuse to accept something that they couldn't do in 2 weeks will take longer than 3 days. I don't think we will have a kitchen in time for Christmas. p.s. KWP were the installer subcontractor, they are even worse than Magnet. p.p.s. we are now going through a section 75, the 0% finance company were apalled, and suggested we just go for a full refund. Update Mid November 2025. It has now been over 3.5 months since work started on the kitchen. Magnet continue to repeatedly fail. Damaged cabinets have been replaced with more damage cabinets etc. Damaged appliances are not being replaced or repaired. Damage to the house has not been addressed. The initial install still hasn't been completed - no hob, missing electric sockets etc. To reiterate, magnet were the sole provider for the entire kitchen, full installation, electrics, plumbing, flooring etc. The senior staff all seem to be quitting. This is a failing company who appear unable to install a kitchen. Again I would advise to avoid like the plague.

    Great experience with Magnet Orpington, they gave us their time whenever we had a question, even dropping by the showroom on short notice, we were welcomed. Emails were answered promptly and any issues or problems handled swiftly.

    The design session to start with was helpful. I believe all they needed to do was to generate the quote by the end of the design session using the software, as simple as that. Everything was pretty much decided. However, everything fell apart after that. I waited for them to send over an initial quote for weeks and even called them a multiple times to get the quote. In the end months passed still nothing came back. It was like they didn't even want to do any business. If they can't simply provide a quote, how can anyone trust them with an order?
