   Our journey with Adrian at Piqu was longer than most people spend building an entire dream home — and every step was worth it. I first contacted Adrian in mid-2023 and again later that summer, having decided that the combination of Piqu and Leicht was the only way to truly achieve our vision of a dream kitchen. From the outset, what stood out was the perfect balance between my ideas and Adrian’s gentle guidance, paired with an incredible level of patience and care. After engaging with numerous designers and manufacturers, the difference was clear. Some lacked creativity, others felt like salespeople simply chasing an order. A few offered us the same kitchen in a different colour, while others discouraged our ideas altogether. None of them could visualise, advise, or elevate our concepts the way Adrian could — choosing Piqu became an easy and confident decision. I visited the showroom at least 15 times, took home close to 100 samples, and Adrian brought even more to help refine every detail. He visited our home several times before the design was finalised and was consistently present throughout the installation process. At no point did he show frustration or apply pressure; instead, he listened, adapted, and offered thoughtful advice and clever workarounds that always stayed true to our original ambition. We did encounter a minor issue with one door — coincidentally the one I had always been slightly concerned about due to its heavy use. It is currently being rectified, and the process has only reinforced the fact that Piqu’s aftercare is first-class. You can enter into a project with absolute confidence that you will be supported long after installation. Supported by Karen and a fantastic installation team, Piqu represents the very definition of a trusted kitchen design and installation service.    My kitchen has been transformed from a purely functional room, to a space the whole family loves spending time in. I wasn't expecting very much when I first went to visit Piqu as I'd already seen a design from another company that I liked. But meeting with Adrian, I knew Piqu would be my choice. Adrian was able to take into account my vision for the kitchen, how I use it and my budget, to give me something that surpassed my expectations in terms of design, layout, quality and beauty. The choice of colour, 'Moonlight Green', along with the unique Sensa Sant Angelo granite is a combination that gives me so much joy!! Adrian's expertise was key in ensuring the kitchen was designed to work with how I intended to use it, and what I planned to store in its cupboards. He was very patient and accommodated my back and forth on some of the finer details. But more exceptional was his attitude when dealing with issues that arose, which is inevitable in a project of that scale (the kitchen was part of a whole house extension and renovation). He took responsibility to ensure all problems were resolved, quibble-free, and to a high standard. I 100% recommend Piqu to anyone who's looking for a new kitchen.

   We used Piqu for our new kitchen and couldn’t be happier with the final product. After an initial discussion with Adrian, he quickly created a great modern design that captured all of our requirements and which makes brilliant use of the space available. We chose a German handle-less kitchen after spending hours checking out all of the different sample doors, design features and worktop samples that Adrian has at the Piqu showroom. Adrian and his team were great to work with - super efficient with communications, very friendly and helpful and always willing to offer expert advice, and to accommodate and challenge changes to the design and layout. The finished product is excellent. The quality of the cabinets and hardware is top class, and the kitchen is so easy to navigate and use with everything positioned and located perfectly. We get some many compliments about our kitchen and would definitely recommend Piqu!

   You know when something feels instinctively right and that was how we felt when choosing Piqu kitchens. Adrian listened to our brief and was meticulous in his design, schedule of works and execution. His team were a pleasure to work with and totally professional. We’ve ended up with everything we asked for and more. We are now proud owners of a stunning, quality kitchen, that has re-established itself as the heart of our home. Somehow without extending, the kitchen seems bigger, with more worksurface space and storage. Adrian is a magician and those initial feelings of trust were more than lived up to. We cannot recommend Adrian and his team highly enough.

   Our experience with Piqu kitchens was absolutely superb! From the very first interaction with Adrian and Karen to the final results, it has been smooth and professional. The planning took time on our side, as we wanted the best possible kitchen with the space we have, however Adrian was patient, shared a lot of knowledge and guided us through the process thoughtfully (thank you for that Adrian). Piqu also has an excellent team of professionals that came and set it all up within 2 weeks, keeping the house clean and tidy. The whole process was just a breeze for our family with young children.    We renovated our entire house over the last year, with a rear extension and full interior refit and upgrade. Our family life revolves around the kitchen so it was critical to get it right. From the moment we met Adrian (over a Zoom call), we found his deep expertise, coupled with a real desire to understand our needs a breath of fresh air amongst his peers. Adrian was very quickly able to internalise our vision and carefully (but resolutely) guide us towards a detailed kitchen design that was almost perfect from the first draft. His knowledge of the products that he works with (in this case a Ballerina kitchen), was exceptional - coming up with extremely clever solutions to challenges with our specific situation. Based on this very good experience during the design phase, and after getting some insane quotes from (very experienced) European manufacturers of outdoor kitchens, we asked Adrian if he would be interested in quoting for the outdoor kitchen. Despite not having done many previously, Adrian jumped into the challenge and worked with his suppliers (especially his joiner) to make some bespoke cabinetry incorporating the outdoor fridge, Big Green Egg barbecue, sink, and storage space for all the gubbins that was previously littered around the shed! Adrian worked diligently to ensure we tested all finishes to ensure durability and alignment with the indoor kitchen. In the period following the creation of the detailed design but before installation, we experienced a large number of hiccups. All (but one, see below) were due to external factors to Adrian and the team. Our builders experienced delays, the steels ended up in a slightly different place from the original design and the glazing suppliers threw in a few curveballs too. In each instance, Adrian was able to juggle and manage these external dependencies with his trademark calm and understanding approach. Even Adrian was not immune to some of the external challenges this last year; several suppliers (stone, appliances and kitchen) let him down in various ways that could have potentially impacted our project. Adrian dealt with these dependencies with transparency, quick-thinking and creativity ensuring that the impacts were managed and mitigated. The fitting of the kitchen was an exciting culmination of all the hard work. Due to various factors, the house was still very much a building site but Adrian’s installation team (who were extremely skilful, knowledgable and friendly) worked around the mess and were able to put in the kitchen in a beautiful way. Their craftsmanship shone through as they integrated the “standard” elements of the kitchen to fit around the mechanical and electrical elements. We hadn’t understood what a huge difference this small aspect of the kitchen could make as it ensured every bit of possible space could be utilised. The fitters also worked very well with our builders who were doing the plumbing and electrical connection works. After installation, Adrian was incredibly proactive on fixing snagging, including helping with elements that were actually nothing to do with him, but nonetheless needed to be corrected for us to enjoy the space. The finished product speaks for itself. The pictures really don’t do it justice and we are so happy with the finished product. It has proven durability and quality in the first 5months of usage and we always feel that Adrian is there if we need anything. The layout is frankly perfect and all of Adrian’s wisdom shines through each day when we use the spaces. Thanks to Adrian, Karen and all the team at Piqu for their hard work in getting us our dream kitchens (until the next house ;-) )

   It has been a real pleasure to work with Adrian and indeed the whole team at Piqu. From the very start when we stumbled across Adrian’s showroom at Micron Home Improvements when researching glazing for our sliding doors, we knew we were in good hands. Having tried several different independent kitchen designers before meeting Adrian, we were getting a bit fed up and beginning to think it was impossible to get a kitchen layout in the space we were creating that would actually work! The kitchen has now been installed for a couple of months and not only does it look absolutely stunning and is everything we could have wished for and more – it really works from a design point of view and is brilliant for us to spend time in as a family and when we are entertaining. There is nothing that we would change and that is a testament to Adrian’s great skill as a designer and immense patience when dealing with my numerous questions and long emails! His attention to detail certainly matched my own and nothing was overlooked nor too much trouble throughout the whole process (from his initial visit before the builders had even started to his last visit – supervising the installation of our beautiful painted glass splashback) – Adrian and indeed Tim were always attentive to our needs and really cared about the end result. During the process he was always available for advice and suggestions (and even helped with other aspects of the build such the lighting). Would wholeheartedly recommend if you are looking for an extremely high quality kitchen with a bespoke service at a really reasonable price. Thanks Piqu for delivering our dream kitchen and for the wonderful first rate service – we absolutely love it!

   Attention to detail and Passion! We were rather daunted when we started looking for a kitchen for our new extension. Although there seemed to be a good number of companies offering some quite nice looking products we always felt disappointed by the designs and level and detail. Finally, we were recommended to Piqu by a good friend and we can’t recommend enough the company and the help we received from Adrian. Frankly they went above and beyond what we would expect and we have now a most beautiful and functional kitchen that we are immensely proud of. The quality of furniture and materials used are fantastic but if I were really to recommend one thing it’s the passion Adrian showed for giving us the best possible kitchen. I would recommend Piqu to anyone who wants to create that truly special space.............
