I have given an extra star because Russell in the Orpington showroom was a pleasure to deal with. He was patient, eager to help, and has always replied promptly whenever I've had to contact him, he's a credit to the company. Sadly that's where the positives end. The most important thing when buying a new kitchen is the quality of that kitchen, and unfortunately this is where Wren struggle. We ordered timber kitchen units as opposed to laminated units, because we were worried about the laminate peeling away in years to come. What we didn't expect from our painted timber units, was that the paint would randomly flake off. My kitchen was only one year old when I realised that the paint on four unit doors was flaking off, mainly along the bottom edge of the doors. Wren replaced the four doors under warranty, which was the right thing to do, but I still had to spend my time fitting the replacement doors. One of the doors was for the integrated washing machine, and this wasn't a simple thing to do, it was actually very difficult and requires a special tool to bore out a space for the hinges. I had to get some help and we still nearly messed it up. If I did mess it up, it would've been down to me to replace it at my own expense. I am not a kitchen fitter, I'm a taxi driver and I honestly think when Wren replace a sub standard product they should also supply someone to fit the new part. I have now noticed that paint is flaking off yet another unit door, so this will be the fifth door that has needed replacing on a year old kitchen. This time it's the door to the integrated dishwasher, so yet again this will be a ball ache to swap over, and not as simple as replacing a normal unit door. I find it astonishing that Wren seem unable to do something very basic like painting/spraying doors to an acceptable standard, where the paint won't flake off. I have also had the "hot" insert on my tap crack twice, so the hot insert can't withstand the temperature that comes from the hot water, these were replaced by Wren under warranty. Unfortunately I now regret buying my kitchen from Wren and can't recommend them to anyone thinking of buying a new kitchen

Misleading Pricing and Poor After-Sales Support My experience with Wren Kitchens has been very disappointing. The initial kitchen design and quote gave the clear impression that appliances I specifically requested were included — they were even shown in the 3D design. However, once the paperwork was finalized I just recieved empty tower units without the appliances.I discovered that none of the appliances were actually included, and the price had been presented in a misleading way. To make matters worse the units I recieved were also damaged and the wrens app was totally unhelpful to order replacements. The manager, Ryan, who asked me to be send the photos of the damage to his email has been completely unreachable since then. Calls and messages have been ignored, and there’s been no effort to resolve the issue. It feels like once they’ve made the sale, they stop caring about customer service altogether. I would strongly recommend anyone dealing with Wren Kitchens to double-check every detail and get full written confirmation before signing anything. The whole experience has left me feeling misled and frustrated.

I’d like to give a special mention to our Wren Kitchens designer, Simon Bowers, for the fantastic service he provided while helping us design our new kitchen. Simon guided us through the whole process with patience and professionalism. He listened carefully to our ideas, offered expert recommendations, and worked with us to get every detail just right. Even after the initial design, he stayed in touch for weeks, helping us refine and adjust the plans, answering questions, and making sure everything was spot on. He was upfront about where the real value lay, and when we compared his design with those from other suppliers, the difference was clear — his made the most of our space, whereas others felt a bit slap-dash. The final result is exactly what we wanted, and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s turned out. Price-wise, Wren compared very well to the competition, and we feel we got excellent value for money. That said, I would advise anyone ordering to double-check that Wren’s measuring service has accounted for structural features — in our case, there were several adjustments needed after the design was finalised, but we had the right friends with the skills needed to make it all work. Overall, we’d absolutely recommend Wren Kitchens — and we’d definitely suggest asking for Simon by name. His patience, expertise, and ongoing support really set him apart.

Our experience getting our kitchen from Wren Orpington late last year was horrendous. Our so called designer was extremely rude, condescending and unapproachable with us from the beginning and we really regret not asking for someone else or just going to a different company. He was making desisions based on what he thought was best rather than telling us our options which were always more costly. We were rushed to finalize our order but we needed to change some things which we had been told we could do but because he had been on holiday he put our order through without us knowing causing us a massive problem to get sorted. Head office were very good in helping solve some of the problems along the way and replaced some wall cupboards that were not correct. However the problems got worse, too numerous to mention and it took a total of eight weeks instead of the two we were quoted to finish and we spent a fortune on takeaways and prepared food. We were assured that we could make a claim once everything was finished which we did and they offered us £180 which was an insult. The stress we went through was unreal. Like other people have said once they have your money it feels like they wash their hands of you. We needed to add more to our kitchen a couple of months later as we had been so rushed, but we had to find a different company to match what we already had, however although it was only a third of the original kitchen the experience was so much better and we felt like a valued customer and would be happy to recommend sadly unlike Wren. Many people have asked if I would recommend Wren and I have to be honest and say definitely not and this is not so much about the overall experience but the way we were not listened to at the end and justly compensated. Customer service and aftercare is so important no matter how big you think you are.

All started pretty well with Wren. Our designer was great, our fitter was fantastic. The issue comes with the ordering of the kitchen and the aftercare. There were several issues with the original order, with measurements being taken wrong and items missing. We were without a sink for three weeks and had to reschedule a number of trades to fit around the delays with Wren. We are now four weeks after when the kitchen should have been completed and still have two outstanding items that need fixing and no dates of when they will be done. It seems Wren have our money now and can argue we have a functioning kitchen so are no longer interested in resolving our problems. It’s a shame as the kitchen could be lovely. Definitely feels like money wasted and I would recommend others look elsewhere if they want things done on time and perfectly. Which you would expect for the amount of money spent.

They’re only nice after getting you to sign contract. The quality of the cupboards was that similar or less to B&Q but more expensive. The backsplash was not installed correctly and Was not corrected after I had made a complaint. Everything conveniently starts to break after one year for which the warranty does not cover despite saying “5 year warranty” or “10 year warranty”. Customer service was unhelpful and takes a while to respond. I would not recommend.

We chose Wren due to our budget. Eden was our kitchen designer, very helpful and professional. The kitchen arrived on time. We had a few damaged doors, but they were quickly replaced. Downside...tried to use the app to order replacement without success, so had to call helpline and lines were very busy. We used an independent fitter to instal the kitchen as Wren quote was very high. But the kitchen looks amazing. We would recommend Wren.

We love our new kitchen from Wren. Our kitchen designer was very knowledgeable and helped us design our dream kitchen within our budget. Some of the units did arrive damanged, however this was rectified incredibly easilly and quickly. We would definately recommend Wren Kitchens

We were really impressed with the service from Wren from start to finish. Simon Bowers was our designer and first port of call. He returned emails quickly and things was too much trouble. There was no hard sell at the planning stage, it was very relaxed, helpful and based around what we wanted. The price was very competitive we felt. Communication at each stage was excellent, we received lots of update and confirmation emails and phone calls. We were even offered an earlier delivery day as the date got nearer. Units were delivered with plenty of notice and clearly labelled with a very detailed installation plan for our carpenter to follow. Some units were damaged in transit but the delivery team spotted this, reported it and we had a call within a day arranging replacement and re-delivery. We're very happy with our kitchen and utility.

I visited Wren Kitchens in Orpington for an initial meeting to discuss my needs and to obtain a quote. The Designer I worked with Zoe, was greta and listened to what i wanted as well as fitting to my requirements. I managed to get my finished kitchen at a great price due to Bank Holiday weekend specials and a great looking, quality kitchen. The price was extremely competitive. I had my own fitter complete the kitchen as they were doing other work to the property. Am very happy with the finished item. Would highly recommend and use again.
