   We recently used Howard & Co Solicitors for the sale and completion of our house, and I can’t thank the team enough for the excellent service we received from start to finish. A special mention must go to Tina, the legal secretary, and Nathan, our conveyancer. Both were excellent and made the whole process as smooth as possible. Their clear and consistent communication meant we always knew exactly what stage we were at, and they were quick to answer any questions we had. What could have been an incredibly stressful experience was handled with such professionalism and efficiency that it took a huge amount of pressure off our shoulders. The timeliness of their work, combined with the reassurance they provided throughout, really stood out and we felt completely supported every step of the way. I highly recommend Howard & Co Solicitors to anyone looking for reliable, professional, and personable legal services. We will definitely be returning to them in the future for any other legal matters.

   Amanda from Howard and Co was quite possibly the rudest person I've ever spoken to. Highly unprofessional and decided it best to hang up the rather than answer a sincere question. I would encourage thorough training. The receptionists are lovely however and as helpful as could be.

   I used Howard&Co Barnsley Office for conveyancing. I had used them previously and that had been fine, They had a change in the team and this time they were appalling. They don’t answer emails or return calls, I received constant complaints from my buyer and their solicitors and they ultimately lost me a sale . Avoid

   Highly recommend. Jonathan and his team helped me regain custody of my children after a lengthy battle with social services and going through court proceedings.They gave me the best advice and fought for me every step of the way. At times I’ve even known them continue to fight for me and my family on weekends when they aren’t even meant to be working. Everyone I’ve met at Howard and co are friendly and have been easy to communicate with and made me feel comfortable when visiting the office. I cannot thank them enough and without them I’m not sure what Would have been the outcome for me and my family. I 1000% made the right choice choosing Howard and CO solicitors to represent me throughout this awful ordeal. My children are back home thanks to them !

   I would never recommend anyone use this company for any of your needs. The worst experience I have ever had using a solicitors. Not only are they old fashioned, still making you take your documents to the building instead of online like most solicitors. They have no compassion, no communication, and you'll end up chasing them for everything. You will never get to actually speak to Katie the solicitor since she always "in a meeting" or on annual leave. You will only ever talk to the reception staff, of which if Janet answers the phone you may as well hang up since she is rude, inconsiderate and only cares about getting to leave at 5pm and will lie to you to get you off the phone. I was only ever nice and polite to everyone I spoke with, since I know that getting angry gets you no where, and was still treated with condemnation. Which is why I feel it's important to pre-warn anyone who is thinking of using this place. Think again and save yourself the torment. They may be cheaper than the other solicitors you could choose, but now I know the reason why.

   Howard and Co is a brilliant, professional firm and I recommend anyone with any legal issues to contact them without hesitation. My personal solicitor from the firm, Kevin Ripley, is amazing at giving advice and has a friendly, servile attitude. His knowledge of the law and the support he gives is more than exceptional. He always does his best to help and represent me when needed. He explains things clearly and properly and makes any process comfortable. I’m sure that anyone else from the firm is also the same. They’re more than just lawyers, they’re friends.

   We used these solicitors to complete buying a commercial property, as we was recommended to use this company. After a stressful delayed months, we finally completed and coming up to completion the overall price we paid compared to what we was told originally was a lot higher. Then 24 hours before completion fees were added for searches that had been missed? Which didn’t make no sense, not even to my broker. The communication was shocking throughout, no phone calls ever got returned either and they most certainly made the time more stressful than what it should’ve been. After we have completed they have owed me money since completion on the 7th June, today they finally bank transferred me the amount but I’ve had to chase them again because they’ve sent less than half of the payment they owe me. Personally I’d avoid, with the stress it’s caused I wouldn’t ever tell anybody else to use them.
