Chips average, donner thin n tasteless , Katlama even worse, literally disgusting , first time going there today, never ever again. People that rate this place as 3/4/5 stars, wake up an go see the world, maybe then you will realise what food is supposed to taste like, embarrassing.
Ordered large fish and chips and chicken and chips. The fish was barely a small let alone large. The batter was soggy and drowning in vinegar. The entire order was burnt and overcooked food that tasted like it had been made in old oil and refried. Pictured are the "better" chips, most of them were scraps that were cremated. Went in the bin. Won't be ordering from here again.
If you know, you know. When you see classic in the name of one business, means cheap food. Was my first time buying food in this branch. And this classic have cheap food, and with a really good flavour. The price very affordable, the food is nice and the portion is a good. I had medium donner, chicken and chips, and mix Donner, eat in. They have one table for four persons. The place is really clean and you can see the staff job with the cleaning. The food is fresh, the place is nice and the staff have five stars for be so friendly. Absolutely I will back soon.
Overall a pretty average restaurant, which is not necessarily a bad thing; non of the food stood out to me, although it did seem rather expensive for what it was, at £7.50 for a mix kebab, savloy and drink. £1 a can seems excessive imo. Apart from this, the sauce game was severly lacking. The overll friendliness of the staff was pretty high, there is only one table within the restaurant upon which you can dine with 4 chairs, 2 of those chairs are broken. There is an ATM directly outside of the shop, they accept cash only, no cards. They seem fairly popular with locals and provide, well, an average chippy experience, amazing savloys though. It is based just off the main road, if you're in the area, pop in, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this place.
The thing I like about classic fish bars is that the food tastes and layout are the same whichever one you go to. It's like a cheaper version of Big Johns. So you know the quality you are going to receive. It's good for a quick stop off if you come across one, but don't expect like top notch smash burger. Staff are nice. Would suggest they try and revamp the place.
Bought donner meat & chips. It wasn't donner actually it was chewing on a rope! ABSOLUTELY Disgusting! The worst donner meat in the world I can say! Never ever going there again
Extremely bad service food isn't the best quality they raised their prices to the say and made it a small portion not worth it disrespectful staff
The thing I like about Classic fish bars is the food tastes the same whichever one you go to, so you know the quality you are going to receive. It's good for a quick stop off if you come across one. Only downside is they tend to make up prices on the spot for custom orders that don't quite fall in line with their regular menu, which you cannot really fault but a little more thought on pricing would go a long way to retain customers. Nevertheless it will continue to be a preferred go to stop off when you feel that pang of hunger after a long drive.
