Very lucky to have this cinema in our town. Latest films available for such a good price. Would recommend checking up to date opening times.

First time here. Nice and cheap for entry fee and food/drinks. Nice to go somewhere that isn't charging the earth for a family

Great cinema and totally under rated. We are so lucky to have such a facility. Friendly welcoming staff, treats are very reasonably priced imo, and seats and surroundings comfy. Cant go wrong! Recommended.

Found this place by accident as was in Rhyl at about 6pm looking for a place that was showing the new Matilda, these were the only ones in the area showing it at 7:30 (the others all had it starting at 5pm). So I went for these. At first was a bit unusual as when I saw their website I thought it was some kind of big chain cinema, but when I got there it was like a small community run cinema (it reminded me of the community cinema I volunteer for in Tenbury). The owner was really nice and friendly. At first I went to buy a ticket assuming that cards were accepted (as is the norm for most cinemas - actually I was so surprised there was a guy selling the tickets and not some automated computer screen) was really surprised when he said it was cash only... But then when I asked him the price to see the film - £4 - I could see why it was cash only, the last time I paid so little to see a film was back in university and you needed to be a film society member to get that price! What a bargain. Film itself was great, the auditorium was lovely, nice seats, even two sofas at the front too (who needs Odeon Luxe!). Screen was nice and big and really crystal clear. The only slight criticism I would give it was I don't think the sound system was set up right during the film as it seemed it had a bit too much bass and the rear speakers were a bit high and the centre a bit low, but then that could have been just where I sat as I know sound differs depending on where you are sat (or it could be down to the film as the adverts were fine) - but at £4 to see one of the latest movies it was certainly worth it and I would definitely go again - such a lovely old fashioned cinema serving the community with such great prices. Went the following day to watch Violent Night (the one with Hopper in from Stranger Things) - it was absolutely perfect - sound/picture was amazing (I guess the sound on Matilda was more the movie companies doing rather than the cinema). Plus. I sat in one of the sofas on the front to watch it - it was like watching a film at home (but on a much bigger screen! The sofas at the front are such a nice touch!

The place is tidy and really good value for money. The only minor thing is that it only accepts cash. So if you don't have money on you you have to go to the post office cash machine.

Took my mum to watch the new jurassic film there, perfect for family friendly atmosphere! Staff are welcoming and friendly! The only thing is it's not great for people with mobility issues as there is quite a few steps but they are wide spaced and there's bannisters on both sides, my mum managed them in her own time using her stick and my arm. Fantastic prices, it cost us £8 altogether for 2 tickets, there's a small well stocked snack shop with very reasonable prices for those that want drinks and nibbles! Brilliant job done on refurbishing this from the run down mess it once was.

Surprisingly good. Good view of the screen. Good sound, not too loud like other cinemas. Very warm when we first got there but soon cooled down, very pleasant then. Apart from a group taking through most of the film, highly recommend this cinema. And the prices of drinks and sweets very reasonable. Down side - cash only
