Lovely theatre. Not huge but quite big. Car park very small. Small bar area but nice and cosy

A really cosy theatre where every event feels intimate. It was so nice and warm, I even nodded off during all the comedy! Arrived in plenty of time and entry was smooth. Queued to get drinks but then the bell for last orders meant that mission was aborted with seemingly many a parched patron left thirsty! It's such a small theatre that they could perhaps offer seat service for drinks or snacks to be delivered at the end of each row after the opening act?!

First time visiting the theatre last night for the Rhinestone Cowboy show. What a fantastic little theatre this is. Beats the Empire hands down. Clean, well laid out and the staff were really friendly, especially the ice cream man. Will be back..

It's a nice little theatre, perhaps 200 seats. I've seen a couple of concerts here and on the latest occasion a play. Everything has run smoothly, it's comfortable and warm. They sell ice cream at the interval. You might hear some street noise sometimes. There's a large bar area. There are car parks nearby, which are presently free (April 2025). Entry is at the back of the building, not obvious the first time around. Every town should have a venue like this, with a busy calendar.

As theatres go, this is a little gem. OK, its not the biggest for sure. But it packs a lot for a small venue. With a seating capacity of around 200 its intimacy is awesome. Great stage lighting complemented by an excellent sound system. Overall i find it hard to fault, the reception area was spacious enough & bar prices were just a little higher than the pub. The gents toilets throughout the evening we're all clean & serviceable & the staff in particular were both friendly & helpful.

Very unique and personal theatre. Small but well stocked bar. We watched Deeper Purple. Awesome!
