Joined meadow lane last week wasn't to sure about what exercises to do that suited my needs so a lovely young lady called Louise who worked there spent over an hour with me showing me multiple routines and how to get the best out of my time in the gym 5 stars for Louise thank you

Forwarded here by the doctor. Such a lovely guy called Martin took me under his wing . Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Also John in one of the classes is so good at what he does. Took on my special request to make things a bit easier for me and didn't have to be reminded the next week. Very kind and understanding These lads are a credit to you.

A really good gym for a council run one. Gets very busy but I manage to use in quiet times. Has a sauna and steam room which are often hard to find this way in local gyms. My only complaint is that of the digital locks in the changing rooms, around 50% of them don't work which is highly frustrating. Oh and parking which has been made worse by the ongoing roof repairs. Otherwise, a.great value for money gym.

If you can get to the gym during the day, it's great. If you can only go after work at 6pm its so difficult to get on any machine, due to a number of teenagers sitting on the machines using their phones or chatting. It's not really fair to those on restricted times and paying full costs.

Brilliant swim even had two swim lanes. Very clean centre would highly recommend.

Without a membership you can use the library, and can take books home for a limited amount of time with a library card. However, with a membership (swimming or gym membership) you get access to a high tech gym with built in television channels, and headphone jacks with YouTube also included. With a swimming membership (or £4.50 for a swim without a membership) you get access to a medium sized pool to swim with friends or family, or just mess around. Overall, without a membership, you get a library, and for £4.50, a swim session. £1 is needed for a locker key however there is a locker key collected that gives you £1 upon return. Without a membership, I'd give it a 3.5/5, but with a membership 5/5. I you can shell out the money and live close, you should get a membership if you are interested in what I have described.

Each and every time I’ve used the pool during the last 6 months I’ve ended up unwell, including sore throat and heavy colds. Hygiene around the pool area doesn’t seem a priority.
