These are the solicitors of our buyers and they are incompetent, none responsive, asking already answered and pointless inquiries. Our house is inherited and chainless and the sale has taken 4 months because of this useless conveyancing company. My solicitors have been ready to exchange now for a month or so.

We needed to sell a property and this had previously been bought using Eve Lake as the conveyancer. We knew that the purchase had gone smoothly, so decided to use Eve Lake for the sale, too. We initiated contact by email to Eve one evening, and had a reply just before midnight the same evening! Once we had agreed to use them, they were definitely on the ball, and kept us, the estate agents and the buyer's solicitors informed at every stage. Everything went very smoothly and after we had signed the sale contract paperwork one day, completion went through the following day. The money then arrived in our bank account as expected within a couple of hours, with all the calculations for estate agent's fees and Eve Lake's conveyancing fees already done. A very satisfactory and efficient transaction from very friendly staff who gave all support needed (and offered refreshments on both visits to their office). There was always someone there to field enquiries, whether Izzy, Abigail, Antonia or Eve herself Recommended!
Our conveyancing process was very straightforward and all went through without a hitch. We are first time buyers and Eve Lake were helpful with our many questions. We were told by friends to expect that we would have to chase our solicitors to keep things moving, and we did sometimes, but Eve Lake were always super responsive, and we got through easily on the phone.
