   My co-executor and I chose Taylor Emmet Solicitors to manage the estate of my late brother. This was an extremely difficult time, and really a very complicated estate, with a host of different issues that we needed to deal with. Thankfully we had Gaby Mather as our solicitor at Taylor Emmet. She was prompt, accessible and could easily find out who we need to talk to or engage with for the different issues. She managed to coordinate us using a couple of different departments at Taylor Emmet to get through this trying time, and took away additional stress. Not only that, she was extremely compassionate and took time to ensure my brother's mums (my co-executor) needs were catered for throughout. This was invaluable to us. I would recommend this branch of Taylor Emmet and especially Gaby - I hope they appreciate her as much as we did as clients.

   I recently used Taylor Emmet as my conveyancing solicitor to deal with the probate sale of our family home. The sale was not straightforward: complications on the deeds and a sale fell through at a late stage. Elsa was so helpful and responsive, answering all my questions and managing the process proactively. I initially engaged a high-volume online conveyancing service, but they couldn't deal with the deed issue and we wasted weeks. Taylor Emmet actually came in cheaper, amazingly, and their professional relationship with the estate agent was invaluable. Big thanks!

   Honestly not great. We went with Taylor and Emmet as they were recommended by our estate agent and when our buyer also went with the same solicitors we thought this would be smoothly handled. Turns out this was not the case. Our buyers had informed their side that they needed to move by a certain date as their rental agreement was not being renewed. This was not passed onto us at all, so when we finally found out from the buyers themselves (3 months down the line) it was a lot of stress to both sides, for us to find a rental to move into and for the buyers who had to be out by a certain date with potentially nowhere to move to either. If T&M had maybe picked up the phone and informed their colleagues in the other office maybe this would have been less stress for both parties involved.

Excellent (almost daily) contact, always responding to emails and phones calls the same day (if not the same hour!). They made the move as stress free as possible. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
