I got a black cab from Chesterfield station to a well known area and address and was asked by the driver to navigate for them. The driver seemed completely unconcerned that if I'd not been a local and I'd been visiting that I'd not have been able to do their job for them. Absolutely appalling service, from a company that clearly don't check area awareness before allowing drivers to represent them in that area. Given the choice going forward I'd rathe walk half a mile or so to get a cab with a driver that knows the area
Outstanding service on New Year's Eve - ordered taxi - arrived in five minutes. Fair price to boot. Recommend!!
Booked a taxi for my wife's birthday 2 days in advance to avoid disappointment on the Saturday night. The taxi was late arriving for 7pm (as expected!). I phoned for an update at 7:15pm as we had a table booked for a meal at 8pm. At 7:30pm still no sign so I phoned again. At 7:45, still no taxi so I called yet again and was told by the operator that the drivers pick and choose whatever jobs they want off their phones, and because ours was a little bit further, they were all accepting the local jobs, so ours kept getting bumped. At 8pm, we had to cancel plans for my wife's birthday meal so cancelled our taxi booking. What an absolute farce! What kind of a policy is this, letting drivers pick and choose what they want???? Won't be using Network/City Taxis again!
Ordered two cabs. Concert started at 7pm. Still waiting for cabs at 6.50pm. Very disappointed. These ruthless people take bookings upon bookings and they fully know that some will be let down. Do yourselves a big favour and use someone else.
