Really don't understand the negative reviews. Was referred here by my GP, arrived 10 minutes before to fill out the consent form, was seen bang on time and all sorted within 15 minutes. Couldn't ask for more really. Car park had plentiful space, people were friendly and polite and I felt well looked after. They don't deserve the bad reviews.
Recently had my scan done at this clinic and it was all good. Few hours before test I have received a courtesy call. At the clinic we have been greeted by friendly receptionist. I was pleased.
I phoned, got through fairly fast, was given an appointment near home. The receptionist was super nice and professional. I was told I would get a reminder though, which I didn't. I assumed my appointment might have been cancelled but as I had written the time and place I went anyway. It hadn't been cancelled, which was great, but a bit unnerving not to be sure.
Unfortunately there isnt a 0 star option. AWFUL! My husband was referred her to have a ultrasound, after weeks of trying to call with no answer we finally got through and got an appointment. Come the appointment day my husband went to the centre to find no staff were there and lights were off, he waited inside for 25 minutes and then left as he couldn't find anyone. The appointment was 3 weeks ago, haven't received a call to re book, have tried calling countless times a day to re book and find out why no-one was there however am getting nowhere as no-one will answer the phone. God forbid anyone needs a scan urgently they'd be dead before you managed to get an appointment. Absolutely useless service, no point being open
Awful experience. Referred by my doctor. I was able to book promptly but needed to contact after that, it was 3 days before. I literally must have tried 30 times, all day. Just rang out, no answerphone, no "you are caller no. X". So I emailed. My scan was nextday. . No answer. Then i got an answer on morning of scan . Didnt answer my query. I am diabetic on insulin so fasting fir 6 hrs is very tricky. I needed to know what i could take if blood sugar too low! I was in waiting room crying as my sugar was critical. Then the nurse implied it was My fault Awful.what should have been a simple answer ti a simple question turned into a horrible experience
Absolutely terrible service. I was refered by my doctor for a scan and it was virtually impossible to get through to them on the phone. The phone rang and rang with no one to answer it, no matter what time of the day you try to contact them. Then I emailed them and out of the blue they sent a Saturday appointment at the very last minute. So I made plans to attend the appointment as I was glad that at least I had some contact. The same random appointment was now cancelled two hours to the time with the only explanation being 'issues with our services'. The lady on the phone had a serious attitude problem and was extremely rude and really should not be in a customer service role. All this happened today 04/02. I think i will go private at this rate because there is no reason for a NHS service to be so bad.
2 month update - has still not been able to get an appointment. Everytime my GP refers me AGAIN Lakeside Medical tells me they cannot find my referral, i then get told my by GP that they have marked me as a no show. This place is just messing with peoples health. Impossible to get through. I keep getting an automated message for the last 3 working days saying to call back & then it hangs up on me. not even being put on hold! ridiculous
Minus -100. Worst place every. My dad had an appointment, they called me and said they will send me a text with the details. Never sent that text, i had to call my gp to find out where the appointment is! I called them for 3 days in a row but no one picked up. My dad went for the point , travelled 1.30 hours only to get there and the place was closed. It’s a joke, i hope they will close them down soon!!!!!
Absolutely the WORSE OF THE WORSE I’ve been to number 1 in the queue 3 times and it cuts off! And I’ve been waiting 6 months for an appointment. This deserves a minus score it doesn’t even deserve the 1 star.
