   Was slightly worried after having booked it a while ago and only reading reviews the week before we went, and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were super friendly and helpful, we both had 3 courses in the restaurant for dinner, all good, the main especially was excellent, breakfast was hot and fresh. Couldn't fault it, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

   The waitresses were great, they were polite, happy, and helpful. The quality of food on the other hand, is shocking. You certainly don't get anything like what's displayed on the Google photos above.

   Food edible, but at the best bar food quality, not restaurant. Nothing home made, everything frozen and reheated, including the soup and desserts. Very overpriced, £10 for a glass of wine. And the staff were like a scene out of Faulty Towers, it wasnt busy but they kept bringing us the wrong food (a starter when were half way through our main, no spoon with the soup or cutlery for desserts). The meal was part of a deal and we were only here one night, if we had been here two we'd have gone elsewhere to eat. The restaurant itself is lovely and the views are nice, such a shame they haven't invested in a decent menu, a proper chef and trained the staff.

   Service from beginning to the end was outstanding. Very friendly,responsive and answered all our queries. Special thanks to staff at restaurant, especially lady serving us! Absolutely amazing service and food! Very quick, food tasty, drinks perfectly presented.Would definitely come back again.

   Stayed here for 2 nights food was so bland we chose not to have the meal included and go out to a restaurant instead. Had our free meal i had cod and my mrs had beef.... both so bland no seasoning on either of them what so ever which was a shame as her beef was cooked really well just had no flavour. My cod was 100% frozen as it wasnt flakey at all and tasted of nothing. Hotel grounds are nice just think the restaurant lets them down. Especially as they charge £10 for a glass of wine. Ive not even paid that in mayfair in london

   Excellent food, freshly cooked and full of taste. Service was worthy of a 5 star restaurant. Two and three course deals all from the a la carte menu, with the specials board thrown in the deal if you wished. We really enjoyed our meal/evening at the bramblings.

   Waited ages for our food in an empty restaurant and when it arrived it was dull, tasteless and pulled from a packet. Massively over priced, microwave food, chef's been to Iceland.
