   I’m writing this because I’ve now had two bad experiences in the space of a week. I have been for two different tests and each time the person undertaking the exam has been rude, abrupt, and has awful bedside manner. They have been so short with me, ordering me what do do, not explaining anything, when I was clearly nervous both times. I have been to many hospitals around Surrey and at Cobham Day Centre the people are just awful. I left feeling upset and angry at how I was treated as both times it was a completely unacceptable way to treat patients.

   The staff here are so king and caring. I have been for a procedure here 3 times over the years. The surgery is spotlessly clean and run very efficiently. I am always impressed. They made a nervous patient feel clamer and cared for. Thank you!

   Recently had a minor procedure under GA at the Day Surgery Unit. Everything went well due to the care, skill and organisation of the highly professional team. From the start, everything was explained fully, I met all staff involved in my care who treated me with the upmost respect and kindness. The unit was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Sincere thanks to everyone (I won’t share names) who looked after me on that day and made a stressful situation so much easier.

   Thank you to all at CDS who have made my two visits incredibly pleasant and comfortable. Special thanks to both Dr Janet and Lorraine for being incredibly kind and making me feel heard during my initial appointment back in early December. It was probably the best service I have ever had at any surgery for a consultation. Another special thanks to the delightful Mr Bello and his team, along with the nurses who looked after me today. I was incredibly nervous however left feeling really looked after and reassured. Another amazing service provided. Everyone smiles at you, very clean etc. I would give more stars if I could!

   Because of the backlog from Covid I was sent to Cobham Day Surgery which is some distance from my home. However, it was worth the bus journeys because the experience was excellent. The bis stops are at the front if the centre’s entrance. From the booking office to the receptionists, nurses and surgeons, all were professional, helpful and friendly. The centre is very organised and shining with cleanliness. It was pleasure visiting the centre. I was able to drive to my last appointment as my vision has been given back to me following cataract surgery on both eyes. Parking is provided.

   No one wants to go to hospital but if you have to, this is the one. Staff very welcoming, professional, caring and take the time to fully explain what is involved. A no pressure and calm environment makes the stay as pleasant as possible. Recommend without hesitation.

   Had day surgery for bowel cancer screening and although they were running late I felt the staff were extremely caring and kept me informed all through my treatment. The air conditioning wasn't working on the hottest day of the year for which they kept apologising but my concern was more for them than me as they would have to suffer all day. Cannot fault any aspect of my experience and feel very lucky to be able to have this procedure available to me. Thank you all so much.
