I'm a cancer patient, and my only appointment with Dr. Salukhe was a single telephone consultation. Following that, I had a diagnostic test which showed moderate mitral regurgitation. After waiting 18 months with no follow-up, I discovered I had been discharged by admin, without any notice. When I raised a complaint, I was given another appointment - again, just a phone call. To make matters worse, three years of data from my LOOP recorder had mysteriously vanished. Today, I had another echo scan, and suddenly—miraculously—I no longer have mitral regurgitation. I feel my time has been completely wasted by this hospital and its clinicians. I’ve lost trust, I’ve lost faith. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. And of course the delay... only 50 minutes.

I was there for a day a year ago exactly for my breathing difficulties. I did a couple of sleep apnea tests at home for my local hospital and 1 for Brompton which said I stop breathing 26 times at night so I need to get a cpap machine I was in my hospital a month ago and they wanted to have me dealt with here in Colchester but Brompton said they wouldn't transfer it to my local hospital save me struggling to get to London and back it's awful

Doctors were so condescending and refused to acknowledge that my father had a serious deterioration in his mobility because of his lungs. They moved him to a general hospital, where he died a week later. The doctors on foulis ward (Dr Chua) have terrible egos and don’t like to be told they’re wrong, this comes at the detriment of patients.

Absolutely terrible cancelled the appointment and forgot to inform the patient that it was cancelled. Travelled for three hours by car there then back not impressed. To be informed that the hospital still send the texts and letters out even when appointment cancelled but don't notify patients directly what is going on ?

My dad died under the cardiac clinics care. They have left me without my dad. He wrote letters 6 days before he died he wasbreatless. They did a little meeting after he died just to appease me as I complained. No they have let me down and I've lost my 65 year old dad. No one cares we are just statistics

During the pandemic there was only one lift operating for the whole building which hundreds of patients, some of whom very vulnerable, had to use. The staircase was locked so there was no other option.

The paediatric team is amazing. Son has been with Dr. Rigby for good 8 years now and the level of care is outstanding!

More reviews must be made about this place. M father was kept in Royal Brompton Victoria for his lungs. They look after him better than his family do at home! The nicest nurses and staff I've seen and very efficient. Great facilities and happy vibes from everybody, exactly when you need it. Very happy in this place!
