Very helpful, and very quick, staff are always ready to help if needed, and excellent. My Surgeon Mr Fabula and his team were excellent surgery was TKR, spinal aneathesia op on 2 December 2025 home on 3rd Dec, cannot fault anybody or anything, from start to finish and now just 2 days later will post picture /video
Had a detached tendon in my shoulder repaired along with rotator cuff by Mr Pardiwala. From the initial consultation, surgery & follow up appointment, I couldn't fault. After only 5 weeks I have full movement and now onto strengthening exercises. I feel very lucky that my GP referred me to him.
Very bad experience . I am a student in UK and had severe stomach pain. Was referred to this Practice plus pharmacy for medicines. I travelled with lot of pain, and it was Sunday, the pharmacy was closed.There are no timings mentioned anywhere. I even tried calling the practice plus group Ilford many times to enquire the timings, no answer.With lot of difficulty I travelled alone in pain and the receptionist answered carelessly,using her mobile,not paying attention.Worst experience one could ever have. As students are we paying health insurance to experience this. We are already alone in this country and this kind of treatment makes it even worst. I am sharing my experience so that no one would face it again. The doctor from Harely Fitzrovia Health,Woodford was kind but my concern is about the Practice plus group, Ilford pharmacy.
I had a shoulder tendon repaired - done by Dr. Parawalia. The surgery was done with a lot of care, empathy, and deep sensitivity. Dr Parawalia is extremely genial and affection - extremely professional with competence prowess ! The whole of the staff was affectionate and dealt with me with extreme care. I am extremely grateful to Dr. PARAWALIA and the staff for all.
My initial experience with the consultant general surgeon was fine, she booked me in for an MRI. Once I had the MRI, I never heard back. It's been 3 weeks and I have no idea where my results are. When I called practice plus group, they seemed to put accountability on to ilford polyclinic staff blaming them for not sending results yet. You can't get through to loxford polyclinic MRI dept for practice plus- they cut you off and there is no way of figuring out where you stand. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.
This is the best hospital l have been too. Very friendly team of staff, nothing is too much for them, very helpful before and after surgery. Everyone had a smile on their face even cleaning staff which is Very rare. Meals there are also exceptionally good, even just sandwiches were presented very well. I would definitely recommend this hospital to others, and would return there myself if ever needed.
This is the best hospital I have ever been in. The care and efficiency were excellent. My operation was conducted by a top class surgeon and anaesthetist who made me feel relaxed and secure. The team in the Kingfisher ward were kind and professional with good bedside manners and sense of humour. There were no delays in the treatment. My stay was made as comfortable as possible and I thank everyone involved. I am now recovering well.
Had my left hip replaced on the 7th of December 2022 all the staff where outstanding, surgeon made me feel as though I was in very good hands, if I ever need anything else doing I would have no hesitation in going back, even though it is a two hour drive from my home. Can't thank them enough.
I was waiting for more than six months to get my wife's surgery appointment on the 22nd of September; we were 100% ready to do the surgery as I had booked annual leave, my kid's school off, and my wife booked a yearly holiday from her job and requested relative to help us during my wife hard day. But without Dr permission or any consent Nurse cancelled my wife's surgery appointment. This hospital messes up my whole family. Management, reception, and nurses are all ridiculous. They have not communicated with each other. I have never found this type of disgusting hospital in my life. The reception staff and nurses are so angry, aggressive, and unprofessional. All staff are lying without reason.
First day after cataract done. First eye as well. God, how different things seem. Can read the writing on TV for the first time in over 18months. Can see colours clearly. Hospital was spotless, staff were brilliant. Surgeon brilliant (of course). Can never thank you enough. Diane Softly. X
