My son been looked after! We had a paramedic looking after a minor injury that as a result was a broken tumb. I don't remember the name of the paramedic but was able to identify the broken bone just after the assessment. The x-ray was just confirming her thoughts. Thanks and keep it up!
I cannot understand why reception staff in the Eye Clinic have so much time to chat amongst themselves - been going for a few years now and it doesn’t change . I’ve heard about their holidays, their moving house details etc. which they finish before addressing the patients waiting at the desk - they wouldn’t get a job in my company! They are certainly not overstretched !
Review for blood test department - 10/10! Went in the evening so a phlebotomist checked us in she was lovely, and all in all the blood test took less than a minute. I am a nervous patient and the lady who took my blood was exceptional. Very kind and nice to speak to. Highly recommend :) thank you
Had an appointment at the Endoscopy Dept yesterday, not going to lie, I was dreading it! I would just like to say a HUGE thank you to ALL the staff in that Dept, what an absolute credit to the NHS. Despite having issues with some of their machines, they remained focussed, polite and professional. They constantly apologised for the delays, but in all honesty, it wasn’t that long to wait. Every member of staff I spoke to were brilliant, and the DRs and Nurses during the procedure really took care of me, as unpleasant as the procedure was, it made it a little easier to endure because of the care given during and after. Honestly, can’t praise them enough! Got to have it done all over again in another couple of months, hopefully I’ll be referred back to them. Thank you!
This review is specifically for blood test receptionist. I been there many of times for blood test and at the reception the old lady is very rude and arrogant. Never reply back if you say hello or good morning only just rude reply what time is appointment. Looks like she’s is not happy from job. Must need to change this receptionist. Inside nurses are very welcoming and pleasant.
Was advised by 111 to attend miner injuries in orsett. Upon arrival I was told by a rude receptionist that 111 did not say that to me there was nothing that they could do for me. Not even a check over. By far the worst service I've ever had I'm never going there again.Absolutely shocking service !!!!!!!!!!! Dont even deserve 1 star tbh.
Eye department kept me waiting over 2 hours over my opointment time! Wouldn't mind but I was the 4th slot of the day. How do I pay my bills when they keep me from work ? Trying to cancel my next opointment but every 15min the line cuts out. Look forward to seeing the signs asking you to cancel opointments instead of not turning up.
On 22/08/22 I had a blood test I have them often without any issues this time it was a male nurse he never pressed hard to stop the bleeding by the time I got to my car the whole area was covered in blood! I managed to stop the bleeding, the next day I had bruising all along my inner elbow area day three I was in terrible pain and phoned my GP he said I must remember the nurse and never go to him he, then said I will have an issue with that vein for life and must not have blood taken from my right arm! Here we are the 5th October and my arm is still very painful even my clothes touching it is painful! He shouldn’t be doing that job if he doesn’t know how to do it properly! Otherwise great hospital with lovely helpful staff.
Hospital is good, staff are lovely. Only problem is I can never get through to them via phone, it’s impossible! I’m pregnant and suffering with horrible morning sickness which is making it hard to leave the house. I tried to let them know in good time that I wouldn’t be able to attend my appointment but I couldn’t speak to a single person to let them know. If I do get through to the switchboard, they’re no help as they won’t help me get a message to the relevant department and will only put my call through, to which I have been on hold for about 2 hours previously and still gotten nowhere! I tried to let them know so we could either speak over the phone or rescheduled, but now the appointments been wasted and I feel guilty because I couldn’t them know!
Absolutely outstanding. I have just come to do my x-ray and didn't know I had to book. From the beginning I didnt know if I could park so I've asked a staff from the portable CT scanner and they happily explained the parking and where I had to go, when I got to other main entrance I was greeted asked to wash hands and directed to reception. Again very nice welcome, they asked of my appointment I said I didn't have one as I was not aware, without any hesitation they send me to x-ray department to see if I can be seen, in the x-ray lovely Receptionist said that although I should've had an appointment she has space and will book me. Luke in X-ray was very nice and caring. I think this was my first pleasant experience when it comes to a hospitals. Thank you so much to all the staff, you truly make a difference. ❤
