I’d like to say how much my visiting doctors experience has improved since I’ve been going to this clinic. Although obviously busy the staff and doctors are always pleasant and clearly trying their best under busy circumstances. Whereas you cannot always recommend a clinic, from a personal perspective it’s refreshing .
Every time I call I tend to get the same receptionist on the phone. So rude, dismissive & a careless tone. Can no longer get a doctors appointment no matter how sick you are, they just palm you off elsewhere. Used to be such a good surgery, god only knows what’s happened. Moving to another surgery that actually cares for patients. That receptionist needs to either be fired or taught how to actually speak to people in need.
Great experience so far, I had 2 (minor) health concerns since joining the practice and both were dealt with quickly . On both occasions I was offered a face to face appointment (with the advanced nurse practitioner) and treatment/referral was actioned promptly. I never had to wait for my appointment and I was called in as soon as I checked in. Very impressed with the service.
The most amazing friendly receptionist, the same goes for the background staff. The nursing team are incredible, and the GPs are so professional, so caring and always give you time to explain why you are there. The best practice I have joined in many years. Awesome people
Doctors are very good but quite difficult to book an appointment. Receptionist, for my point of view, Unprofessional,dismissive and unhelpful. Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and should be friendly and helpful. I hope that the clinic will take the necessary steps to ensure that all receptionists are trained to provide a professional and welcoming service to all patients.
Best GP clinic that I have come across so far. GP gives their best to accommodate on the same day. In all my visits, they do their best to address the problem and gave referral for quicker appointment with consultant/surgeon.
At the heart of this GP surgery is kindness and empathy. Truly the best practice at which I've ever been registered, I fully trust the staff with my family's health and well-being. From reception to nursing to GPs, Southcote is an efficient and experienced clinic. The dedication of care we have received from everyone is wonderful. I can't thank the doctors and staff at Southcote Clinic enough for their amazing care.
I have never had anything but a positive experience at this surgery. I have managed to get a same day appoinment everytime I have called. Dr Kakad is excellent and has gone above and beyond to make my daughter feel safe and comfortable, if I could give 6+ stars I would!!
We have been registered with the surgery for 8 years and they have been great throughout. They are clearly going through a period of change however, if anything the changes have only made the GP service even better. They seem to have the best diabetic nurse now and all the new doctors, Dr Khan, Dr Kakad, Dr Thakerar have all been exceptional in providing our family with care.
