Hopeless in getting any appointments - the website offers contradicting information about booking appointments. Doctors do not seem interested in face to face appointments. Receptionists are rude to you when you try to call the surgery for answers, or to make an attempt at booking an appointment that is otherwise not shown on as available on the website. I once called asking for an appointment urgently (I have mental health problems) and the receptionist had the nerve to say that the phone lines are “mostly used for the elderly”! Disgraceful. The only good thing about this GP is limited availability of appointments on weekends.

Awful clinic, I ended up in A&E for 5 hours after trying for 3 days to get problems with a uti sorted. I am now at high risk of it becoming a kidney infection. Not to mention I am now having to switch to a different surgery as I have been blocked from seeing anyone but 1 particular doctor that I have no interest in seeing or speaking to. They have been trying to pressure me into having a face to face appointment to talk to a male doctor about my mental health problems that have been caused by issues with men in the past. When I finally agreed to have an appointment with him I ended up becoming overwhelmed and agitated so I left as it was what was right for me at the time, a receptionist proceeded to follow me out and harass both myself and my Nan trying to get me to go back in and stating she would “sit in the appointment with me” while I am sat in my nans car hyperventilating and crying hysterically begging her to leave me alone and to let me go. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone as all it has done is cause me more stress and made me wish I had never reached out for help in the first place.

"My experience with the NORC clinic has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Even if you follow their instructions to call back at 8 a.m., there’s no guarantee of getting an appointment. To make matters worse, the first step is usually a phone appointment, which can take up to two weeks to schedule. For anyone struggling with health issues and the stress they bring, this system is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. The attitude of some staff members only adds to the frustration. They’ve even threatened to report me simply for expressing my dissatisfaction with their service over the phone. What exactly can they report me for? For pointing out the obvious flaws in their system? Instead of addressing valid concerns, they resort to dismissive and defensive behavior, which is entirely inappropriate for people working in public service. This clinic desperately needs to reevaluate its processes and the professionalism of its staff. Patients deserve efficient, respectful, and compassionate care—not unnecessary stress and dismissive attitudes. Management must take immediate steps to improve this disgraceful situation."

GP (& receptionist team) pretty much saved my life this week after requesting samples & immediately acting on them. From initial online contact in the morning, to phone consult, to face to face consult with GP and nurse, then to hospital admission was only 2-3 hours! Without GP intervention I would’ve continued ignoring symptoms & very soon been in a life threatening coma or dead. I even had a checkup call from a receptionist the day after my hospital admission to make sure all was going well! Hopefully follow-up care at the Nork clinic with my condition will be equally satisfactory. Big thank you to doctor & the receptionist team. Regarding negative reviews about Nork clinic… I know it’s difficult these days to get appointments with doctors, I too have found it difficult and inconvenient at times. However it is not only Nork clinic that has this issue, from my experience it seems to be a nationwide problem. In this instance when required Nork Clinic performed above and beyond, quite probably saving my life. Both my wife and I are very grateful for it.

I recently joined Nork clinic due to extremely poor service from my previous local doctors. I cannot express enough how great they have been from the get go. My daughter moved to Nork about a year ago due to the same reasons as mine and she has had no problems at all, the whole team have been very supportive thoughtout. I have received excellent pre and post op care from doctors and staff at the practice over the last couple of months. I was amazed that they called me after they had received information about my diagnosis, checking in with me to see and to say what support they can provide. I cannot praise them highly enough. On one occasion I was on the telephone with one doctor for 15 minutes, to then have a follow up call a couple of days later. this just would not of happened with my previous doctors. I am so pleased I made the move when I did. I thank everyone at the clinic.

I am incredibly grateful for the help, support and care I have received pre and post op from the doctors and support staff at the practice but especially from the nurses who have been just brilliant I have been a patient here for over 20 years and have always received help and advice when I needed it - thank you

I don't understand why this clinic has such low ratings. I saw a doctor this evening, the receptionist was lovely and polite, the doctor said 'it's lovely to meet you' initally and continued to help me with kindness and patience. She helped me understand the reason for being there and she then wished me better. Her tone of voice and attitude was continuously caring. The whole experience was straight forward as and as I suffer with anxiety, I always struggle seeing a doctor with fear I'm wasting peoples time. I left feeling taken cared of. Thank you to the staff this evening and I hope the others feel confident if they need to visit this clinic.

Do not understand negative reviews, surely if patient so unhappy with service from Nork Clinic why don’t they change GP surgery? I find the service I receive exceptional, staff very helpful and go out of their way to help. I have never had a problem with the appointment system to date. I understand the new web site is not favoured by all but we have to move with the times as this is almost nationwide now and changes are implemented by NHS and local care trust.

Worst GP experience we ever had. I've hardly ever been able to book a GP appointment. The admin team are the health decision makers and no condition seems serious enough to matter enough for a same day GP appointment. Their non urgent appointments are from 3weeks of your request date. We were returned to them by A&E and 111 on several occasions. Reported them to the Health Care Quality Commission to no avail. After 2 years of not being able to access GP services, family and I moved to another local GP surgery and we now have same-day access to healthcare practitioners. Non urgent appointments from 1week of request Each surgery gets paid for every patient on their list and I recommend moving GP surgeries if my story sounds familiar. Your health and wellbeing matters.

Updated review Feb 2020 Phone system nows seems better and holds more people; still, you had better call as close to 8.30 as possible. Recently good doctors although usual NHS re strictions, couldn't get surgery on painful umbelical hernia in NHS.. Not this surgeries fault. ........... Not sure where the fault lies (phone system?) but after attempting to call in from phone opening time of 8:30 almost constantly till 8:39 where I get put on hold for nearly 10 minutes to be told they have no more spaces today... A real shame as when you manage to get an appointment the doctors are usually good and staff competent if not that friendly (but considering they are dealing with the public I can't blame them!) I'm just wondering exactly what do you have to do to get put through the phone system? A sacrifice to the phone system gods perhaps? Needs an upgrade to hold more callers in the queue. Had I been 80 years old and very sick I'd have been extremely angry. Luckily I'm just disappointed and in discomfort..
