I highly recommend Emily Wang for massage. She is kind and thoughtful, and very experienced. I went to Acumedic Clinic with neck pain, hoping for a massage that would ease stiffness and improve mobility. The massage was better than any I've had before - very strong and precise. I bought a package and have been back regularly. The massages have made my whole back feel much freer, and I always sleep very well afterwards. The clinic and tea rooms have a soothing atmosphere and wonderful selection of tea. Highly recommend :-)

I can’t recommend Dr. Disha enough. She is fantastic, an excellent listener, incredibly knowledgeable, and very open. She has helped me regain balance from perimenopause symptoms, including terrible brain fog, among other things. If you’re a woman struggling with menopause or perimenopause symptoms and can’t or don’t want to go the HRT route, this is a wonderful alternative. I highly recommend her

I had acupuncture with Dr. Disha. She is very friendly and helpful. I had seen her in the past and felt better for my Achilles issue, and I am seeing her again now and already feeling improvement. She is a wonderful doctor who truly understands where the pain comes from and uses acupuncture effectively. I highly recommend her to everyone.

I’ve done acupuncture routinely for about 3 years in Australia for everything from RSI, to joint punches, to releasing muscles so I could play guitar, kee up dance into my 40s etc. I tried a clinic in Cambridge which was great too - but in my experience, Dr Zhang at AcuMedic is the best so far. He uses electric pulse acupuncture which was new for me and unexpected at the price. It’s a really great clinic and I can’t recommend it enough

I had a miscarriage in December 2024 and a chemical pregnancy in February, tough year. My body felt out of sync, stressed, I didn’t know how to reset. I always walked past this clinic, peeped in at the tea room and the beauty cabinets, unsure about going in. What I’d say. It looked professional but warm and welcoming, I knew they had Chinese doctors and acupuncture, so for my birthday I asked for a voucher. I had a consultation with Dr Hongyi Zhang. He felt my pulse, checked my tongue, asked questions. There was anger in me, he said. I cried. He said my partner should be checked too, but I knew he wouldn’t. He asked about my menstrual cycle. The acupuncture was surprisingly straightforward, I imagined a bed of needles or dozens nailed into me! Dr Zhang gently placed I think four around my abdomen, two near my ovaries. Two on my forehead, hands and feet. He tapped each spot first then left a needle there, it doesn’t feel anything like a blood test. It’s like a needle without the thread, and balances on its own there. Dr Zhang turned on a little machine that sent a light vibration into the needles at my abdomen, and I could feel the pulse. Then he left me to relax for half an hour with music and a buzzer in my hand to call if needed. I had two of these sessions. The second was just before I was due to ovulate in April. That cycle I got pregnant again. I am now 24 weeks along. Earlier this week I fainted, my blood pressure is low. The next day I called for an appointment and Dr Zhang saw me straight away. I immediately felt less weak after the session. So I bought a package which has no end date, and I can gift sessions from it to others, I think I’ll give one to my sister. I’m forever grateful to Dr Zhang and I love popping into the centre now for a cup of Amachazuru tea. If you are in two minds about acupuncture just do it and I highly recommend going here.

I went to AcudMedic today for a brief 5-minute free discussion with a Dr. I didn't even take or remember his name, as I wasn't impressed. I went for a specific reason and showed him photos of my symptoms. He looked at my tongue and said I needed acupuncture and herbs to resolve the matter. He then said it's a hormonal issue without a proper medical examination. as another reviewer mentioned, this place offends people. I might look young, but I am not stupid, and I am an educated woman. I was asked, " do you work"? He then stated treatment would cost 77 pounds per week. I found this comment very rude; why would you ask if someone is working?! This man took one look at me and made a judgement. I earn more than most people working there(not that this is important in any way). How much someone earns should always be important, and asking someone if they work is respectful. I wouldn't have walked in if I didn't have the money. There was a lack of basic customer service, and the doctor appeared to be very pushy in getting me to pay for a consultation and treatment. The doctor's tone was rather aggressive. I can afford it, but what I won't do is be scammed by someone who knows nothing about me! The receptionist was friendly, but that's the only positive, I'm afraid! I will take my money to another establishment that respects people that look like me! I won't return to this place again and have already warned others.

Dr Wan is amazing. I am going to the clinic for acupuncture every week for a while now and it’s really helping me with my current issues. He is kind and very knowledgeable! I have to say that every member of staff there is lovely and professional, not just Dr Wan; and the venue is 100% hygienic at all times! (I know about licensing regulations myself) And I have visited several rooms… CLEAN! Also sometimes there are offers and prices can be discounted... I will keep coming back :-) Thanks to everyone at Acumedic!

I had a very bad stomach irritation and constipation. Dr. Linda Han helped me with traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, the pain and symptoms disappeared. For me she is one of the best doctors, she is also very kind and close to her patients. I can only say that she has a patient for life, thank you thank you thank you thank you. Idaira .

I had an abnormal smear a couple of years ago that showed I had the HPV virus in my cervical cells and it had started to cause level 1 cell changes. I was sent for a colposcopy (biopsy) and monitored every 6 months. Often our immune system can clear up the cell abnormalities and virus by itself (and this happened to me when I was younger) but this time, the some of the abnormal cells instead progressed to stage 2 (by stage 4 it is cancer). The NHS clinic that had been carefully monitoring me at this point said they've like to offer me treatment - a LEEP procedure (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure). It is usually carried under a local anaesthetic. A pen with a small heated fine wire loop is used to remove to remove the transformation zone of the cervix - the area of cells at the opening of the cervix. I know the procedure is common and routine and know several women who've had it. However, I also know - both from having read about it and because it happened to a friend of my sister's - that in some cases removal of this area of the cervix can lead to complications with fertility and conception in women. Since I am still hopeful of becoming a mother, I did not want to risk impacting my fertility. I also did not want to undergo an invasive procedure if I did not have to. I read clinical trial findings looking at efficacy of Chinese herbal medicine in treating this condition, and the results were encouraging. Then I came across some testimonials about Dr Lily from women who had sought treatment for the same condition but in much more advanced stages - one woman having been diagnosed with vaginal cancer. After seeking treatment with Dr Lily, her symptoms completely receded. I wanted to explore this before going ahead with any medical procedure. I really enjoy the time I spend with Dr Lily. because Chinese medicine is such a holistic practice and takes a whole-person, whole-systems approach, she learns a lot about my condition by talking to me about my life, my day-to-day experience and my mental and emotional wellbeing as she does from taking my pulse, asking about things like menstrual patterns, bowel function and looking at my tongue. I have really felt heard, and my consultations with her must be at least 45 minutes long, I tend to lose track of time! while we're chatting! She said I had an overall 'yang' energy deficiency - the heating energy need to power bodily functions - and especially weaknesses in the function of my stomach, spleen and kidneys. This was impacting my overall immune health, which is why my immune system was struggling to eliminate the virus. She prescribed Chinese herbal medicine treatment, daily. She also said I needed to make changes to my diet, prioritising certain 'warming' foods that would put heat back into my system and also prioritising warm, cooked foods. She predicted that after 3 months I should start to turn a corner. Importantly, when I went back to the NHS clinic after 3 months of this treatment, the cervical cell changes and regressed back to level 1 and the clinician did not see any need to go ahead with any LOOP treatment. Just a check up after 6 months. Moreover, because this is a holistic treatment that is addressing my whole system - physiological, energetic, mental and emotional - I am feeling the benefits well beyond the problem with which I arrived at Dr Lily's door. When I first started treatment, I had been feeling tired a lot of the time and 'blocked' or 'stuck' in terms of my working capacity and creativity (I'm a yoga teacher, retreat facilitator and writer). I was also cold a lot of the time. Now I have more capacity to get through my work day-to-day, have lots of ideas and can see solutions where I could not previously. I am less tired and less cold - I don't always have freezing cold hands and feet! I am still in treatment with Dr Lily, so I am hoping the cervical cell changes may reduce yet further and, ultimately, that the virus will be cleared up too.

I have been meeting Dr Disha for a few months now. I first visited AcuMedic to seek help with my anxiety and physical symptoms. I must say, this being my first experience with complementary medicine, I have been blown away by the effects and clinical process. She examines my tongue and pulse and spends time each session discussing my symptoms in detail. Herbal medicines are prescribed according to this consultation: as my symptoms evolve, so does the medicine. I am greatly impressed by her experience and kindness, she really does care about her patients! There is never rushing, always a good amount of time spent on helping me. The acupuncture is also a very powerful treatment, and she is very good at explaining what she is doing and how it helps. After a few months, I am starting to feel better. When I first came to see her, I was very unwell, so the change is striking. Thank you Dr Disha!
