Beautiful groom and very patient and kind service . Highly recommended. The groomer was amazing at preserving Raff’s beautiful shaggy cocker spaniel locks while returning home matt free and silky. Thank you ❤️
I bought my miniature Yorkshire terrier in today for a groom. This is probably our 7th time bringing him here. I was called when he was ready to collect and was informed he had a minor cut. They assured me it was nothing to worry about and that they had cleaned it and was told if it got worse to take him to the vet. However as shown in the pictures there are two cuts not just one. . One on his chest and one on the inside of his leg which both look quite bad and deep. The groom itself was not done properly. His hair is long in some places and too short in others. His nails were not cut properly either. I will not be bringing my dog here again.
I didn’t notice until after I got home and was able to feel her fur thoroughly, but after a full service groom my dog Lamb still has multiple areas with knots and mats. This is frustrating especially because I even explicitly told the groomer when I dropped her off that she has more knots and matting than usual because she was sick and had to wait longer since her last groom (at a different salon). I told her that areas where the matting is severe could just be trimmed or shaved off. Even in areas that I specifically mentioned as having lots of matting, like her tail, multiple knots remain. There’s also knots in her stomach area, which could have easily been shaved off. I was in a rush to leave so I didn’t notice, but upon closer inspection at home, there is also a lot of unevenness in her cut especially in different parts of her face. For £80 I expect more care, attention to detail, and better quality than what I got.

I've been taking my cockapoo to Whiskey's since he had his first puppy cut. They've always done a great job and been very transparent about what kind of haircut he needs over the last two years (from trims to the now twice full shave due to my less than stellar home grooming habit - which they didn't guilt me over either time). My dog always seems happy that he's found himself at the front door of the groomer, so they must make it a pretty enjoyable experience for him regardless of what he gets done. I'm writing this review specifically today because they went above and beyond to fit my dog in for a full groom after I mistakenly wrote down the wrong date for an already much overdo groom and missed it. And they legitimately did it only out of the goodness of their hearts. Before I would have recommended Whiskey's just because they do a good job, but they're also just really nice people who really love and care about our dogs.
This place is great!!! Really lovely people! My dog cam home so soft and silky and they let her play (destroy) their toy so she also came home in a great mood! Definitely recommend! They also have so many fun extras you can add on ☺️
I took my puppy Ted to Whiskey's for his first groom and it was amazing! The team was friendly and caring, and the grooming was top-notch. Ted looked like a new dog - his fur was soft and fluffy, nails perfectly trimmed, and coat shiny. Highly recommend Whiskey's for professional and skilled grooming. Thanks, Whiskey's!
They were very kind to me and my pup Ever for her first groom, and helped me figure out how I should be brushing her/grooming her going forward. She’s enjoying her new shorter hair!
Wonderful experience! My dog is very anxious being groomed but they were so gentle and kind with her. She looks great! Couldn’t be happier! Would definitely recommend. Joanna did a great job and the store manager was very polite and helpful.
