I am absolutely fed up with this GP surgery, I have called everyday since Monday for a face to face appointment. Even one minute after 8 o’clock, there is no appointments. How that is physically possible I don’t understand. I could only get an appointment yesterday with the clinician, Sofia khan. I didn’t like her tone or her approach all the doctors in the surgery are so rude and you can hear in their voice that they don’t care. I managed to speak to Sofia Khan At 10:30 am I forwarded my pictures. I have waited all till now. I have not even got a diagnosis. I haven’t got my treatment. I’ve called the surgery twice for them to forward to her for her to call me back. I still haven’t got a response. I’ve had to take a day off of work. There is something seriously that needs to be done with this GP surgery because it’s not functioning properly when you go there there is no one there so they are actually not that busy. The staff as the receptionists are so rude asking questions like they are a doctor. I’ve been a member of the surgery for over five years and I’m sick of it. You can never get an appointment when you do get an appointment. The doctor is always dismissive what you have no help. You can’t speak to them properly they misdiagnosed you. And their attitude stinks! And I’ve had to wait 40 minutes on the phone to speak to a receptionist that is outrageous.

I visited theWhitehorse Medical Practice, GP surgery yesterday regarding my back pain issue from 7 months. I was seen by Dr. Joy Udumaga (NWUFOH). Unfortunately, I found her manner to be quite rude, and I felt that her conduct was unprofessional. I believe they must need to uphold and adhere to the standards and dignity associated with the medical profession.

This practice needs to take a long look at themselves and come up with ideas how to make it better; both amongst all staff (as there are good/ bad within) and with the decor. You attend a f2f appointment but walk in only to be seated in the MOST drab waiting room in history. The blinds are always closed and it's just the most miserable place to wait. Make some changes and do your commnity proud - for once!

This review is specifically for Dr Shazia Khan and the reception/admin staff. Dr Khan takes time to listen patiently and explain in a way that a patient understands their problem without feeling judged and dismissed. We all know that doctors have short appointments (10 mins only per patient) so they are very busy throughout the day and they are doing their best to see all patients on time, and like any other human beings they get tired. But when you get a kind and sympathetic doctor like Shazia Khan, at the end of consultation it feels like your problem has been solved rather than feeling guilty for calling the doctor. The reception and admin staff are very helpful as well.

My experiences at Whitehorse Practice have been incredibly frustrating and demotivating. Back before COVID, I went to Dr. Joy with a concerning health problem. Despite explaining I was barely eating, she simply looked at me and told me to lose weight, refusing to conduct any tests. This dismissive approach meant my actual issue went completely unaddressed and left me feeling unheard. More recently, I saw Dr. Sofia, hoping for a better experience, but was again let down. I had to effectively diagnose myself, present my symptoms, and even provide a list of specific tests I believed were necessary. After the results came back, I was informed my condition was "common" and that most women have it, so they wouldn't treat it unless I was actively trying to conceive. Absolutely none of the debilitating symptoms I initially presented with were treated or managed. As a result, I've had to pay a significant amount of money for private consultations and medication to get the care I needed. When I inquired about converting these private prescriptions to NHS prescriptions, explaining my private doctor confirmed this was possible, the reception staff bluntly stated they wouldn't do anything because it wasn't prescribed by their own GP. To make matters worse, despite explaining the urgent need for my expensive medications and my inability to continue paying privately, there's no availability to speak to a doctor face-to-face for several weeks. This practice has repeatedly failed to provide basic, empathetic, and effective care. My symptoms have been ignored, I've been forced into expensive private healthcare, and now I'm struggling to get necessary medications on the NHS. Avoid if you value your health and peace of mind

If I could give this surgery 0 stars, I would. Disgusting service, receptionists that don't care, a practice manager that hides behind bureaucracy. They even unregistered me without informing me, leaving me with no GP to turn to at a time of need. Some of the doctors are lovely and I do not wish to take away from their hard work and caring nature, but some (one in particular) are absolutely hopeless. Avoid at all costs, the overall Google review score says it all.

Some receptionist very rude. I didn’t finish to say and she cut a phone call. That’s terrible. I was waiting more then 20min when they connect me and she didn’t listening properly what I wanted to say. She cut a phone call!!!!! Very unprofessional!!!!

Worst practice ever. Had to get my whole family to change over. The receptionists clearly don't want to be there and doctors will attribute serious pain to growing pains... at 19 years old?? Was diagnosed with hEDS and Fibromyalgia at my new practice fairly easily. The worst doctor they have is the older Nigerian lady... she clearly thinks she knows more than her patients...

Dr Nwufow, honestly shocked she even has a doctors degree, How can she not know the simple things like how to get rid of threadworm? I had to tell her ! Really loses your faith in trusting these doctors when you have to educate them. Avoid this surgery at all costs or at least that doctor!
