   Many thanks to Jamie who was able to point me in the right direction (site cover v buildings insurance), and the right company to talk to. I was able to get cover towards structural work and an extension at my property, after my current insurer cancelled my insurance, only giving me 3 working days to find an alternative insurance - which was not a straight forward task, as we had claimed on the previous insurance for an escape of water, are making structural changes internally and, we cannot live in the property in the first few weeks of this project. I recommend pushing the door as chance is Howden can restore hope where there is little left!
