I have blocked at least 2 numbers from them already but I have just received another call today. How many numbers do you have?? And how else can I tell you, I AM NOT INTERESTED?!
This company is awful, they spam your phone with calls. They try aggressively to sell you insurance products. Avoid this company at all costs.
I've had 45 missed calls from them today, used money supermarket last night. 1 hour later, I've had another 23 missed calls. I've blocked them
Can only agree with the other user comments on here regarding cold calling. They called me out of the blue asking if I wanted to upgrade my product. After thinking about it I decided to stick with my original cover. Next thing I am receiving 2 calls a day (every working day of the week). For me this is a form of harassment and says a lot about the nature of the business if they operate in this manner. It seems as though they are working in partnership with Money Supermarket, my preferred comparison site, as when I ran a quote through them for piece of mind I learned that "our partner ActiveQuote will call you to discuss your quotes". Needless to say I didn't progress my quotes any further!
Great service from Michael Gauci. He was very informative and helpful and took the time to explain the different options and helped me find a great deal. After I was passed on to the insurance company I made a small error in some personal details which increased the quote by £15. The next day Michael gave me a call to ask if I was aware of the increased quote and he went back to the insurance company to rectify the error on my behalf. Overall a great experience and I'm very grateful for the effort and help from Michael!
We dealt with Ana at Active Quote, she was very helpful & efficient found us a much better deal than we had saving us nearly £ 300 a month, we would happily recommend their services
Great service. Andrew was easy to speak to and spoke in layman's terms. Didnt try to sell me things I don't need and talked me through everything. On my policy expiring Denise called me with a deal for far better cover for a smaller price. I couldn’t find this lever of cover anywhere for the same cost. Even offered to cancel my old policy and made everything as simple as possible. Active quote will be staying on my policy as I feel they have saved me a lot of money and time. Wouldn’t hesitate recommend.
Mis-sold Sickness policy by incorrectly stating Wait Period. Active Quote provided me with a quote stating that the Sickness Insurance policy had "Day 1 wait period". I therefore took out the policy on the basis that the wait period was 1 day. When I went to make a claim recently the Insurer told me that the wait period was actually 30 days so I was unable to claim. This policy was mis-sold due to Active Quote having stated the wait period incorrectly. Their website and quote made absolutely no reference to the 30 days, and as it was so clearly stated by them as being 1 day I didn't check further documentation that arrived after the policy had started. Stating that they didn't provide advice is no defence as they did provide the information about the policy that was wrong which constitutes mis-selling. It is terrible that they fail to take any responsibility for providing incorrect information! The Financial Ombudsman has now made their initial ruling in my favour, agreeing that ActiveQuote mis-sold my policy by providing incorrect information, and ordering ActiveQuote to refund all premiums that I paid them with interest.
Massive shout out to Tom Hoskins, who has been extremely helpful with my experience shopping around for health insurance. Tom called within minutes of me filling out a confused.com comparison quote request and was very helpful in taking me through the levels of cover and different options of providers I had. Can't recommend enough, and it's unbelievable this impartial service is free! Once again, thanks Tom!
Got my insurance set with Mike. Cannot fault him he was ever so helpful and did not push in any direction other than provide advice and give me time and let me decide what to do. I have never spoken to such a salesman so nice worried in us getting the right service rather than make a sale. Will definitely use them again!
