Location is brilliant for training in London and surrounding area. The hotel is excellent and the staff could not do enough for you. It is closing down soon and it shows. As things have gone wrong in the rooms they have not had the money nor desire to fix the so bath Jacuzzis don't work, half the tvs are not working, even the safe in my room doesn't work. But I cannot fault the service and it's such a shame for these lovely staff that they will be made redundant. I wish them all the best for the future and hope they all find somewhere worthy of their service.

We had a lovely weekend at The Barn Hotel but I have to say that there were a few issues. We stayed in the 1528 Cottage with our 8 friends. The cottage needs some restoration on the outside especially. The inside has been refurbished and that is good. The problem is with noise from other guests as you can hear conversations and every foot step from above. Apart from that we were surprised at the Early closure of the Bar area. 9.30pm no coffee served after 9pm and when you have been out it would of been lovely to of had a hot drink. It was very clean and beds were comfortable. Probably wouldn't go back.

Beautiful tea rooms and wonderful staff. I had booked afternoon tea for a retirement party. Neethu handled every query professionally. Great sandwich fillings for vegans. Cakes were absolutely delicious. I have visited The Barn Hotel several times and will recommend you try their afternoon tea.

Fabulous grounds, lots of parking space, quiet area. The rooms badly need updating as they are dated. The policy of linen on request and other room services was not a problem for us, however the bins should be emptied daily. That been said I would consider staying there again...it's very accessible to public transport and the staff were kind and helpful. Local area very good for eating out too.

This hotel has obviously suffered from the effects of covid. While the reception area and the main building are stunning the standard rooms out in the grounds are well below par in terms of cleanliness. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bedroom itself is fine. The bathroom is spotless. The bed while uncomfortable, was clean. The throw over the end of it was not. Replacing the curtains and cleaning the carpet and windowsills would bring it up to a standard of cleanliness you would expect. I hope they get the basics together as the history of this place makes it worth a visit.

Disappointing afternoon tea experience celebrating my grandmothers 80th birthday. While the food was plentiful and delicious, the service we received was underwhelming. The first young lady we came across was rude and abrupt, we were told to βmove our stuffβ for her to place the platters on the table. No please or thank you on her behalf. We received no service check, and had to look for a server anytime we required a top up of tea or looked for beverages. At a price of Β£25 a head you would expect servers to be attentive. 21Β£ service charge was added to our bill, which I normally have no problem with, I would be more than happy to tip for good service. when we went to the counter to pay (separately) the gentleman created a hostile environment and made us feel quite unwelcome and as though we were an inconvenience to him. The hotel itself was a beautiful place, but the staff need to be retrained in customer service. Needless to say, this wonderfully planned afternoon put a dampener on our day.

We visited the Barn today for my grandmothers 80th birthday. It is a beautiful hotel and delicious afternoon tea. We were sat in a little area to ourselves which was lovely. Our first waiter was nice however, when our food was brought out by a second waitress, she was very rude. Did not seem like she wanted to be there. This was a real shame as the selection of food was great. We had to regularly ask for more tea as we were not checked on at all throughout our stay. I have been to many other AT before at other settings and the tea was regularly topped up, without even having to ask. Finally, when it came to paying we were met with a hostile tone as we were paying separately. It seemed like a real inconvenience for the man. This is such a shame as this was supposed to be a special day for my grandmother but we left feeling disappointed in the service. Also considering everything else at the hotel was so lovely. It has put me off visiting again.

I went for Afternoon tea at this hotel today along with my daughter and grand-daughter, I have no complaint about the price, the surroundings were ok. But please Barn Hotel, skimmed milk with tea, come on, it must be full milk. And afternoon tea is a special occasion, perhaps you could run to china cups saucers and tea pot. Very nice table cloths and napkins, such a shame you could not continue it with proper china .

We were upgraded on arrival to a suite. The suite was huge, classy and the facilities were amazing specially the jacuzzi. A very quaint friendly hotel which I would definitely stay at again. Super friendly staff and the commute to Wembley was so easy. Highly recommended
