   Really disappointing experience at Rioshouse George Inn. When we first arrived, hotel has lots of rubbish outside the building and appearance wasn't great. Upon entering our room we were met with a foul smell of smoke, especially in the bathroom which was advertised heavily on the properties website that this is a non-smoking building which is clearly isn't. The room was mediocre, poor quality bedding, leftover drinks in the fridge and a gritty/hairs on the floor. The bathroom was full of orange mould, an unclean toilet and dust over all the extractor fans. We rushed out to a party which we were attending nearby, felt extremely uncomfortable about coming back so when we returned we packed our bags and left. Wouldn't recommend. Rooms should be clean on arrival.

   A very well appointed & clean apartment, with great amenities, however location over busy restaurant/cocktail bar means on an evening expect lots of very loud noise (music) from the same bar/club on the ground floor until early hours, which is clearly audible from the apartment’s. Left early and agreed a refund with owners which they were good about. Same apartments not above a nightclub would be great (we had kids with us too!)

   Nice and clean with everything you need when working away from home. BUT Rios house is not a hotel, it is serviced apartments. I chose this property to book because it is described as a hotel. As a female staying alone I feel safer in hotels. I felt particularly vulnerable here because it has keypad access with no way of extra locking the door from the inside! It needs a metal latch like the ones that are standard in hotel rooms to feel safe when inside. Such a shame as I work very close to here regularly but unfortunately won't stay again because of the lack of security and broken sleep because of it.

   Very impressed. Self service check in & key codes worked well. Rooms are well furnished, very clean and modern keeping the charm & character of an old historic building.

   Rooms a bit smaller than expected but very clean and comfortable. Restaurant serves very nice food, bar is a bit pricey but that's the norm these days.
