Aami was excellent very good service not just with me but also other guest. proficient and clearly knowledgeable about all areas of the hotel. Deserves a raise and promotion! His etiquette and welcome was by far better than the savoy!
Firstly, massive thank you to the staff at this hotel. Our main point of contact Vartika was extremely helpful, accommodating and easy to communicate with. We made a large booking with upto 20 guests. The staff at the hotel were friendly and super helpful. The rooms were nice, clean and serviced everyday. The location is perfect, the service stop has loads of food options and their is ample parking space.
You can’t expect much for the price point but I would’ve had a better sleep in my car.the room is like an old person home. Paint makes it look dated and lack of plug sockets. Mattress I can only describe as being as comfy and sleeping on gravel the pillow of like putting your head on a brick and if that isn’t enough the walls are paper thin you hear everything. I won’t stay in an ibis again but like I say you can’t expect much for £45 a night I’m just glad I was only their for 6 hours but I’ll be honest I think you’d have a better nights sleep in a prison cell. I’ll also add their is no service for you phone in the room.
It was a decent hotel for a stopover. We did it as the last stop before catching a flight from Heathrow, not the nearest( so you gotta work out your own transport, and account for timing) booked last minute at about £80.. where everywhere else was going above 200.. id take it.. had warm showers and towels. Oh it was connected to a stopover mall ish kinda place, adds bonus points, but a 10 mins drive would put you at very awesome restaurants..
We stopped over for one night to break our journey home. The room was neat and tidy, clean bedding and towels. The shower was OK but big people may struggle with the size. A kettle to make a hot drink would have been nice.
Great location, services is next door so everything you need is right there. The room was very clean, and shower was better than my own at home lol. Staff was more than helpful and so polite.
Not worth £97 . I found a deal online for £48 but honestly only worth 40. The room is small , the duvet and pillows are adequate, flat screen is very small and the bathroom door rubber was broken . The room smell like smokers had a light up and there is not tea . Of course it's a budget room. Don't pay over £40 for this room. Feels like a hospital room . The indian guy on reception was on the phone all the time booking in, ask for airfreshner, just not interested in customer service.
The rooms were so small for a twin room that even tho the beds were separate it still felt like we were in the same bed and couldn't move them apart. The shower was in the room with a glass door so not great for sharing the room and watching your mate shower and the toilet was so small I felt like I was in a cupboard plus I've never been to a hotel where there was no kettle in the room or carpet on the floor I wouldn't recommend staying here.
First stay at an Ibis budget won't be the last time. Great use of space and all you need in room for a nights sleep. Triple room with bunk bed great use of space . Located next to services just off the motorway.
Well located as many would say. Next to many choices of fast food restaurants and I was told that this is the only service station with a pub in it (Wetherspoon) so there's that. Hotel rooms cleanliness could be improved. Quiet where I stayed (#11) but could not speak for other rooms. Cheaper coffee sold by the reception (£1.40). Good for a quick stay.
