We had an absolutely lovely stay with our family. The restaurant was a truly delicious experience, and the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. The hotel and its grounds are breathtaking, beautifully kept and full of charm. It’s just a quick drive from Heathrow Airport, yet it feels as if you’ve slipped away from the busy city into a peaceful, cozy countryside retreat. We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful stay.

My stay at The Langley exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful—they even added thoughtful touches to celebrate my birthday, which meant so much. The spa experience was relaxing and top-tier. My room was gorgeous, with high-quality furnishings and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. I left feeling refreshed and very cared for. I would absolutely return.

Lovely stay, the hottub spa area is the main reason we wanted to stay here and it was a nice relaxing time. I used the woman’s thermal spa and it was peaceful. Something to note is kids are allowed in the spa and unfortunately there were kids screaming and jumping in the pool so was nice to have a different location in the spa to relax. They might want to ensure if kids are allowed in the spa that they are well behaved. Rooms are luxurious and staff is amazing.

The Langley Hotel, set within a historic 18th-century mansion in Buckinghamshire, offers a luxurious countryside escape with a real sense of elegance. Positives: Stunning Setting: Nestled in beautiful parkland designed by Capability Brown, the grounds are peaceful and perfect for walks or a relaxing escape. Design & Rooms: The interiors are stylish, with a blend of period charm and modern luxury. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. Spa & Wellness: The spa is a real highlight — state-of-the-art facilities, relaxing treatments, and a gorgeous indoor pool make it a destination in itself. Dining: The restaurant serves refined, seasonal dishes, and the bar is elegant with a good cocktail selection. Afternoon tea is also a treat. Service: Staff are attentive, professional, and welcoming, which enhances the overall experience. Negatives: Food Portions: While the quality is excellent, portions in the restaurant can feel on the smaller side. Location: The countryside setting is beautiful, but it’s slightly remote if you’re looking for nightlife or easy access to city attractions. Atmosphere: Some guests might find it a little too formal compared to more relaxed luxury retreats. Overall: The Langley is ideal for a romantic getaway, special celebration, or spa retreat. It delivers on luxury and atmosphere.

Stunning location and pleasant, attentive staff. We stopped for an afternoon tea which we enjoyed but the bread of the cucumber sandwiches was dry & stale and the tea was weak. The staff replaced the tea without hesitation. The cakes, scones and jams were, however, 5 stars!

A stunningly beautiful location. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The hotel itself was maintained to a very high standard with excellent decoration. The staff were polite and very accommodating. The hotel has two key dinning areas, the Cedar restaurant, with formal dinning tables. The second is the Churchill bar a more relaxed area with your traditional bar style seating (sofas, lounge chairs, etc.). I cannot fault with both served great food with drinks. However, the Cedar does require suitable smart casual attire. Overall a brilliant experience, only drawback, was our first day with a rude breakfast staff member, thankfull we did not see him again for the rest of our stay, and it would be wrong to mark down the high standards of everyone else.

Unreal hotel. My mom and I stayed 1 night here on our UK road trip. The property is gorgeous, the hotel itself is crazy beautiful. Every person who worked there was so nice to the both of us. I even got nice room upgrade to a cute suite. The bed was comfortable, the room was cozy and the shower was amazing. We love a waterfall shower. Would definitely stay here again. The breakfast in the morning was delicious too!

Extremely well maintained hotel and grounds. Outdoor pool, indoor spa, afternoon tea and rich history - The Langley doesn't disappoint! You can wander the local grounds or take one of the complementary bikes out around to see the wider Langley Park, whichever way you go the surrounds are a lush paradise of well kept gardens. The afternoon tea was great, the sandwiches were exceptional, cakes and scones were nice but given the extremely broad selection, the tea itself was a little underwhelming. Besides this, the service is fantastic; staff are outgoing and friendly. A great spot!
