Really lovely room. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming despite us arriving late. The breakfast was a nicely varied selection. Parking was a bit of a trek but ok.

A decent budget hotel in the town centre. Service was excellent from very friendly and welcoming staff - remember that this is a budget hotel and staff have multiple roles to fulfill! Rooms spotlessly clean and heating was very good & controllable. Opening window for ventilation & curtains blacked out light well. Breakfast was acceptable for the style of establishment and staff were on hand to attend to any individual requests - decent coffee!! My only criticism is not really one that Travelodge can easily deal with tbh: parking is in the adjacent multistory carpark, with no drop off near to hotel entrance - there is poor access from the car park to the hotel for wheelchair users or those with lots of luggage. (There are 3 routes and each provides it's own challenges). This is somewhere that I would stay again

I stayed in room 112 on Sunday 7th of December 2025. Pizza was advertised and it was buy 2 the 2nd one is half price after 10pm. When I tried to order and the kitchen was not ready, but I could return in 1 hour. I ordered some soft drinks and crisps instead. The bath plug does not fit the bath, which I was looking forward to having because II have a shower in my flat - this is easy to remedy for the comfort of the guests. The toilet was prone to overflowing if it felt that it could not cope with a certain amount of toilet paper. I had to put my hand in and fish the paper out, lest there be a mess on the bathroom floor. The first floor was noisy with a lot of door slamming up to midnight - Parking easy, next door to the multi storey car park. Make sure you key your car registration BEFORE you leave.

All in all, I had a great overnight stay. The hotel is perfectly situated close to the town centre and Vicarage Road. The room itself was spacious and generally clean but the view from 107 isn't great. The breakfast was acceptable but lacking a few things. What made my stay was Sky, who was welcoming on arrival and on check out. She was very helpful and very smiley, which makes such a difference.

It's not too bad for a 3 star hotel. Not perfect. Short staffed, so had to wait a while at reception and the bar. Staff mostly friendly and helpful. Our rooms were large, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good for the money. But unfortunately the evening meal was pretty bad. We were to tired to find the other restaurants near by but we regreted it. Despite being the only people there, Meal took 25 minutes to arrive and it was overcooked.. burnt veggie burger and tough chicken. We have been to a number of travelodge hotels and they vary enormously. Always check on reviews for that particular hotel

Broken toilet in bathroom. Reception staff were great. Horrible location, especially trying to find it at night. Breakfast not worth the money. Hot plates were broken, so we had to fill in a form. Not a problem. We filled it in for 4 plates, was brought 1 plate with everything on it. Server had clearly not had the forms explained to her properly. Food wasn't good either. Wouldn't stay here again.

Such an amazing room. It was nice and warm the moment we walked in which is perfect during these cold times. You could help your self to more tea/coffee which was nice. The beds where very comfortable to sleep on as well.

Clean room. Viewing the car park. Just a base for our trip. Definitely need aircon when warmer as other have said. Easy to find. 1 road from main high street. Nice to have extra tea coffee milk in reception to help to when needed.
