   Location is great with decent parking and pleasant staff but let down by cleanliness. Bathroom was disgusting as shown in pics. We went and bought bleach to clean toilet as what the rest was like as in pics. Don't Managers check these things as that isn't just over a couple of days . Shower curtain is about a foot too long ,so is all mouldy as not drying properly Come on Travelodge, not difficult. Managers need to manage and check these things

   Do not stay here. Rooms are smelly, hot, and dirty. We booked rooms through the Travelodge website and were seeking to stay in the other Walton-on-Thames location, which is everything this place is not. However, due to confusingly similar names, after we arrived to check in at the other location, they told us we were actually booked here. The rooms stank of cigarette smoke and were over 26 degrees C inside, with windows that barely opened and no air con. On the plus side, it's easy to get to the train station and there's free parking.

   I got the best service from Kelly at Travelodge! She was honestly so thoughtful- lent me her own umbrella on a rainy day so I could go to my interview, and even wished me good luck. After we’d already checked out, she still helped us store our luggage. It really made me feel at home. Service like this is rare! A huge thanks to Kelly! ❤️

   The best thing about this place is the location. It’s within walking distance to the train station AND it’s affordable. I can’t remember what we paid, but it was way less than most other places we checked. The front desk was very helpful in giving us directions to places we wanted to see. No complaints. Good value for the money!

   Stayed 24.11.24 After reading the reviews was really dubious about staying here, but only paying £31 for a night we checked in quite late after spending rhe day in London. On arrival we could smell fresh paint and the reception area was smart and clean. Very friendly chap at check in. We went up to our room (218) and was pleasantly surprised. New TV, freshly decorated. Smart clean and presentable. Our room was at the front and for a Sunday night was quiet and we slept soundly with the window open. Would definitely stay here again.

   Very outdated interior, poor bathroom and no soap available. Theres a constant uninviting smell and not much lighting so it’s quite dark at night. next door to pub. cheap price and close to station though.

   Stayed here for a funeral. We had travelled from Devon. The location was great, staff friendly and helpful. The only thing I did find was a stain on the bed runner and cobwebs in several places in the room. It is attached to a lovely pub where we went in the evening for a couple of drinks.

   Location was good, close to railway station. We had a twin room which was basic but clean. Slight mould issue on shower curtain but usable, tiling looked tired. No where to put your shampoo etc except shower tray. Water hot, extractor didn't work. We were expecting noise as next to pub but wasn't expecting to be kept awake by other residents letting doors bang close as they had no soft close action. There was a couple in the room above who didn't arrive till 1.30am, there was no sound proofing between floors so we heard every step he made all night, back and forth to bathroom all night. He also had a nasty, chesty cough which kept him, and us, awake! The curtains looked like they had shrunk in the wash and didn't cover the window sill. On the up side....the heater worked well and the bed was comfy! In the morning there was no staff member to complain to. Won't stay there again.

   The bedding was extremely clean and bed comfy but room was tired , grubby looking and in desperate need of updating . We had an accessible room , and the seat in the shower was brown and uninviting to say the least . However , great location and friendly staff
