Our third visit to Nathan's Farm and we all loved it again (Mum, Dad, 3 year old and Grandma). Special thanks to Bryony who cooked and served lunch, served in the shop, was taking out the rabbits and guinea pigs for our little one to hold and generally doing everything. What a great hostess she is.

Took our two teenage kids to visit the petting farm and carve pumpkins. We paid £20 for the four of us (plus pumpkin carving fee). For that we got three bags of animal feed, access to the petting pens, walk a lamb and collect six eggs from the chicken coops. We found the staff to be incredibly knowledgeable and friendly They were always on hand to help and guide you. The animals are well-fed and clearly cared for. Our kids absolutely loved getting up close with the animals, particularly holding the guinea pigs and kittens. It was relatively quiet when we went so if you have children who are anxious around crowds or have additional needs, then I highly recommend a visit. There is a cafe and a shop where you can buy produce from the farm or local area.

Tiger king vibes. The owners are definitely focused on just making money and animal welfare is not a concern. Animals are a means to an end. We were offered a walk with a sheep and the lady proceeded to yank the sheep around and have a go at it until it would leave the enclosure. A male worker then took a baby donkey from its mother. He spent 5 minutes trying to get the halter on, which he clearly didn’t know how to do as the baby donkey had part of it covering its eye to begin with. It was then dragged out to have pictures taken with people whilst the mother was distressed. The mother was making horrible noises and trying to watch where her baby was being taken. (Picture of baby with halter not on properly) There were baby kittens and rabbits being passed around without supervision. It’s a shame because if the people cared for the animals better it could be a nice place. A good variety of animals but it all felt off to us.

Would definitely echo some of the reviews about animal welfare. We were offered to take a picture of our baby on the back of a lamb. Lambs are not there to have children sitting on them and I hope every parent declines this offer. We wanted some food and a drink in the cafe but no one served us even though there were lots of people working there. We saw a boy walking a sheep which clearly did not want to be walked. We took our one year old into the ‘scrap yard’ play area which had dog poo, dirty and broken toys and an empty sand pit. Definitely not safe at all for little ones. Would definitely not return and would like to see the conditions for the animals kept there vastly improved.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 We visited Nathan’s Farm today and had such a great time doing the full experience. The animals were well cared for and friendly and free to roam especially the chickens, we walked a sheep (they have lambs to walk for kids) qnd you could do everyone at your own place, to timeslots very relaxed. The staff were brilliant — especially the lovely lady who looked after us (wish I could remember her name!) — she was so friendly and welcoming. The food was also a pleasant surprise — fresh, not frozen, and really tasty, which made the day even better. She even made a fruit salad for my health conscious girlfriend, Everything felt personal and authentic rather than commercial, and you can tell the people here genuinely care about what they do.

Not too bad of an essentially free day out, but the play ground needs some work, and the greetings are literally a working farm where you can see and feed a few animals. Not a huge range of things to do, but my 4 year old enjoyed it enough

Went for a fantastic roast dinner today, they went out of their way to my meal. Would highly recommend to eat there. I will most certainly be going back.

Nice place to spend 2-3 hours with your little ones. Good thing you have all the animals quite close and you don't have to walk miles to see and feed them all. Bad thing: no idea why a 12-14 year old boy is allowed to drive a small dumper truck or a mini pickup and be on the phone at the same time. They should stop this asap especially with so many children on the farm.

Nathan's farm I have no experience with . .but the market delt by cowboys , very rude. 1 pound for parking. Very small market. Not worth any effort. At the beginning of the market you have a food stall who pretends to sell fried food. But once you order they go behind there stall and I believe they just boil the sausage in hot water and sell it for 3.50. Never again I tried twice let down both times. No where near bovingdon's expertise...
