I had a disappointing experience during my stay. I pre-ordered breakfast for 08:00, but it was only served around 08:20, which made my morning rushed as I had a 09:00 meeting. There seemed to be only one staff member cooking and cleaning, so everything was very slow. At check-out, the receptionist was outside smoking, so I had to wait a few minutes. Even when I went out to speak to him, he didnβt seem to hear me as he was on the phone or listening to music. When I finally checked out, I paid Β£15 for breakfast and was told everything was settled. Nobody asked me to return the key. Later, I was charged Β£35 for it. I believe this could have been avoided if proper check-out procedures were followed and the key was requested before I left. I stayed in the Castle Deluxe Room, and I would also like to mention that the towels and bed sheets appeared quite old and worn. I would recommend replacing them for future guests. Overall, the service felt disorganized, and the unexpected extra charge left a negative impression.

I stayed at Asperion overnight this week for a work trip. The reception staff are lovely and itβs a great cosy hotel. The en-suite bathroom was very clean and nicely modern. I found the room very comfortable (Superior Double). Thereβs an honesty bar in the reception which is a lovely touch. Iβll definitely stay here again.

Not too far out of town, room fairly small but ok. Didn't see many staff but receptionist was very friendly and helpful

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are fairly basic but clean and well presented. Staff friendly and welcoming. I'd like to have been given the choice to select my breakfast on the day (rather than having to pre order the night before). Location is around a 15 minute walk (up a hill) from town centre and restaurants. Quiet location.

I thought this place was a really good find! Located opposite the hospital, 10-15 walk from Guildford centre. I stayed in a single room, as I just needed somewhere to put my stuff overnight. The room is a standard single room size enough for a single bed, hanging space for clothes and a small desk and chair. . They provided tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a robe. The robe was needed as I had a shower room to myself, but was located down the hall (also remember to fetch slippers) Luckily though, it was very quiet when I stayed and only saw one other guest. The hotel itself is clean, nicely decorated with nice fittings. The shower room was a bit small, but couldnβt fault the power shower! Again lovely and clean. The room was also well presented and good value for money. The lady at reception was really welcoming and friendly. Also to note the doors donβt lock by themselves so make sure to take your key with you and lock doors behind you when you leave your room. I didnβt have food here, as my stay was really short but the menu seemed nice. Overall a pleasant stay and great value for money!

Great hotel for a business trip. I loved the homie atmosphere. The people were very nice and helpful. Also the kitchen is very good! Maybe some more variation in breakfast options would be nice. The rooms are clean, simple and have everything you need.

The customer service is definitely brilliant. The single room I have stayed in is a bit small but very clean. It is 15 mins walking distance to town center. It would be good to book on hotels own website so parking and breakfast cost are included in standard room charge.

Staff very gentle. BUT I stayed for 11 days and the sheets where changed only once. They don't provide soap or shower gel except for the first day, so I had to buy my own - this has never happened in any other hotel I have been until now. The breakfast, althought good and well made, is very limited considering the price (Β£12.50 a day)

Stayed here over the weekend and I was really pleased! Staff are really welcoming and friendly, the rooms are spacious and cosy, which was ideal for me, my partner and two young kids. Breakfast was really nice which was a bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This lovely little hotel has the charm of family ownership. A great location towards Guildford train station and essentially the city centre adds to the attractivity. The breakfast was quite pricey but the quality was impeccable. I had the smallest room category with my bathroom and shower a few meters down the carpeted hallway. A little confused by the service lady regarding who ordered which breakfast was quickly resolved and it was clear they care about their guests.
