I've been staying quite frequently in the Lensbury over a period of almost three years as working in the area. The setting is second to none with the grounds of the hotel bordering the Thames and unobstructed views of Teddington lock. Playing fields border the gardens which are frequently utilised by international teams who also use this venue as a training camp. I've been recently fortunate to stay in the refurbished rooms which are lovely. Breakfast is served from 7am and is buffet style but you can request an omelette etc from the always helpful staff. The bar menu has recently been revamped with some tasty new additions but the menu is a little limited in my opinion. There is a restaurant option available if you prefer where you will dine in the conservatory which is a really nice setting. A fitness centre is located within the grounds of the hotel with a comprehensive gym and instructors, classes, sauna, swimming pool etc, although I've only used the gym facility. Parking is free and there seems to be plenty of room with an overflow carpark facility opposite the hotel if needed. Reception staff are efficient and helpful and will provide you with all the information you need to make the most of your stay.

Great hotel by the river. Kids enjoy the pool and play areas. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Dinner is well priced and parking is included. Breakfast has a lovely range as well. Definitely stay if exploring the Richmond area!

Everything about this hotel would be nothing at all without the food and beverage team. They have a heart for hospitality, and for their guests. From the head chef to the bar to breakfast / morning team and the closing team - the FB team are exceptionally bonded and committed with passion fun and skill. They are a joy. The same cannot be said for front desk at all. Nothing about the interaction with 99% of them was nice. The rooms in main house were pretty good. Bathroom underfloor heating is needed but didnt work. Rooms were good tho. 3 nights here over christmas, the most challenging for FB in hotels and they were all just the absolute professional, engaging, snart and fun team. Let them run the whole place, it will be the best. Id like to mention by name, but id be worried id forget one - thank you FB team for everything!

Lovely hotel and grounds with ample parking and good location. Rooms are in need of improvement, been visiting this hotel for over 16 years and rooms are pretty much the same - quite dated. Breakfast is okay but not as good as it used to be with waitress service, tea and coffee to your table etc - now it’s a plain coffee machine sadly. Good spa and leisure facilities and grounds are immaculate.

Quick night away for our anniversary. The staff was very helpful and extremely gracious. The room was surprising large and very well appointed. The whole place was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We even got a wonderful massage that had us feeling terrific. Already looking for an excuse to go back, highly recommend!

My wife found this place last week. We stayed for one night for work the next day. I have to say, I was extremely impressed. The room was very good value for money, we paid £189.00. It was spacious, clean and felt very nice. The facilities are amazing, gym, pool, sauna etc. Lovely grounds next to the river too. And you can stroll into Teddington and enjoy all of the restaurants it has to offer. We'll certainly be back. Thank you.

My family and I love being members here. Great facilities, very clean, and plenty of special events for the whole family to enjoy. Our favourite activity has been boating up the Thames all the way to Hampton Court on a beautiful sunny day. Food is also exceptional and we're looking forward to the new members café very much. Highly recommended!

Stayed recently for my wife's birthday. Lovely building and great location on the River Thames. Room was very small with hardly any storage, however adequate for our needs. It was located right under the staff accommodation showers so unfortunately we could hear a shower door banging due to an open window. This went on all night but we did mention this to reception. It stopped for one night but happened again later in our stay. Breakfast was really good and we ate once for dinner in the restaurant and the meal was lovely. Because this is a members' resort and spa, it's very busy with the members coming and going and at times it's like staying in a leisure centre. It's impossible to have a quiet drink in the bar because of numerous kids running around. This did put me off ever going back to be honest as the bar is large enough to keep a section as adults only and still leave plenty of room for families. Location is great and you can leave your car in the car park, which is plentiful as there is further parking across the road. The bus stop is a short walk away and you can bus everywhere. Staff all very nice.

We are members here and love coming with our kids to the grounds, playground and soft play and swimming. It's a safe place where we can all really relax and pass a lot of time easily. Food is generally good, though sometimes a bit slow. Service always friendly. We have stayed in the rooms, they're fairly good although very warm in summer months with not much in the way of ventilation. We love the location near the river. We are looking forward to see the upcoming planned renovations in the dining/ members area.

Spent the weekend recently for a family wedding. Lovely location, very friendly and helpful staff.Room was really good, clean and spacious. Unfortunately we were too busy to use the facilities,so can't comment on them. Food and service was of a very high standard. The rooms for the wedding were very nice, only gripe was the lack of of air conditioning in the wedding ceremony room, made it a bit uncomfortable especially for the bride and groom. Overall a lovely experience, must just give another mention to the great staff and service.
