   The manager on duty on a Sunday morning in December was incredibly helpful and kind, truly going above and beyond. I had lost my bag with my US passport, was due to travel back that day, and was convinced I had misplaced it while checking in the prior day. The manager watched the camera footage carefully, assured me that I had never had the bag, and enabled me to retrace my steps more effectively and find the bag! He was also sympathetic and encouraging and reinforced my faith in the kindness of strangers. Thank you! (Also the rooms were cozy and pleasing and the beds very comfy).

   I would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has participated on making our stay so comfortable and easy. The room was lovely, comfortable bed, lovely and tasty breakfast and meals throughout the day. But the biggest gratitude we would like to give to the staff who have been just incredible, the manager Paul, Handyman Christian, and all the F&B & HSK … the amount of help, support and just general friendliness was just out of this world. Simply hard to see these days! We really thank them all for being so outstanding with their service to us and went beyond the extra miles to make our stay so lovely. We will always remember them and cherish very much what they have done for us. Any company should be very proud to have staff like these guys. Thank you so so much. You have given us more than words can say… on behalf of my family thank you!!!

   Wonderful Stay – Comfortable Rooms, Great Food, and Friendly Service I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and extremely comfortable, with excellent soundproofing – perfect for a good night’s rest. The bathroom was spotless and fully equipped with all the amenities one could need. Breakfast was a real highlight, offering a wide selection of freshly prepared dishes made with high-quality local products. Every morning felt like a treat. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with a smile. Even though the pub was packed, the service remained fast and efficient, and the food was outstanding – carefully prepared, with no signs of being rushed despite the crowd. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, quality, and warm hospitality.

   Called in after long rail journey on Thursday afternoon. Had mushrooms and a glass of wine. As a solo female it can sometimes feel intimidating going into a pub but I was made to feel very welcome. Food and service were excellent.
