The location of Charlotte Guest House is excellent, close to transport and nice cafés. The shower was great and the staff were friendly. However, the carpet in our room had a strong unpleasant smell that made the stay less comfortable. Air fresheners didn’t help – it really needs a new carpet. With that small change, this place could easily be perfect.
A fantastic place to stay and a brilliant price. I really loved my stay here at Charlotte Guest House. It is located in a really pleasant part of London, with a great selection of shops and restaurants within a very short walk. Again, individual needs come into play when reviewing guest houses / hotels. I work in London on long shifts and so I need somewhere to stay that is affordable, but of a good standard. This place more than delivered. A beautiful small loft conversion room, with a super comfy single bed. I slept really well. The hotel is clean throughout and you can see standards are high. Guest houses often smell stale to be honest, this one smelt clean and was pleasant. I didn't see any staff due to late arrival, however the check in process was well explained and easy to follow. They also have an arrangement with a cafe at the end of the road, where you can get 25% of your breakfast before a certain time. I love that and I think it's testament to the owner's entrepreneurial spirit... If only other places followed suit. Only downside was TV signal was not working unfortunately, but it doesn't really matter to me as I use my iPad to watch stuff... So, I won't knock any points off for that. I highly recommend this hotel.
Very basic and outdated small rooms. I think the TV was smaller than my 14" laptop display. The toilet is a bit broke. Hard beds, no aircon. However very clean.

I recently stayed in a lovely neighborhood that was conveniently located near the Jubilee line of the metro. The rooms were super clean and well-maintained, which made our stay very comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, always ready to help with a smile. This place is excellent for a vacation with two kids! We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it to families looking for a great getaway.
Great location near train stations the tube and bus stops, great area with nice stores and places to eat and get coffee. Clean room and nice staff, good value for money
Nice place to stay for almost a week. Next to the west hampstead underground and overground stations. There is everything you might need around (bakery, pharmacy, tesco, cafes etc). The room was clean, spacious and very warm. The bath in great condition with always hot water. The soundproof is not so good but we were only some time in the room so it didn’t really bother us.
Lovely guest house on a beautiful part of London. Plenty of transportation to central London nearby. Rooms are more spacious than the average hotel room in town; friendly staff and loved the breakfast.
Building itself would need some refebrisment in terms of the bathroom, but still have a nice English style, and atmosphere. Good value product to price.
Reception staff& house keeping were super kind and available for any request! The guesthouse is old but very clean and nice to stay in. The location isn't super central but felt safe and close to the metro station. Unfortunately there was nothing available at the kitchen as expected, and covid was used as a reason. Generally recommended !
