We stayed only 1 night but good experience despite some bad reviews. The couple greeted us and handed over some slippers to use inside the house which was understandable. Some printed informatioms in our room like map, wifi, etc. Our bedroom was spotlessly clean. Bed was comfy but duvet was too heavy. Coffee, tea & bottled water provided. TV was good but better with Netflix. The shower was powerful enough but was overflowing down the floor. Location was good, 10-15mins walk to nearby shops, restaurants & train station although bus stop was 1 min walk from the property. Ample amount of parking spaces too. I would say the property was good for short stay.

Don’t go here with your precious kids! Because I rely on many people’s reviews while booking services to places that are new to me, I have to write a review about this property! We had a terrible experience! We had booked expecting to have access to the kitchen and dining area and even called prior to our departure to confirm if this was the case! They said yes! Yet upon arrival, we were confined only to the rooms and had no where to even wash our baby’s bottles and utensils! I had to keep calling the host asking for stuff to use and even then, the kitchen they say is communal isn’t equipped with whatever you need! We had to be using the toilet to wash our baby bottles and they never bothered to ask if all was okay! The couple is quite unfriendly to people with kids, and I definitely don’t recommend you to go there if you have kids!

Great place. Lovely people. I'm fairly certain that I've stayed in most of the rooms here at one point or another and every one was ideal. If it is available I always stay here when I am in the area as it is a very calm and pleasant place, where you are greeted warmly, looked after and you leave rested and happy. This is easily the best place to stay in this area. Easily.

katolondonhaus 3rd stay , this time 17-19 May 2024 2 nights , Room 5 My third stay at Katolondonhaus. Once with family , last two times I stayed, alone in room 5. The room has a large double bed with very soft but firm pillows , a firm -medium mattress and a really nice duvet , that to me was the same you as you get in a premier inn...all very cosy. The ensuite although small, is very well appointed with a super fast hot shower , that really does a great job envigourating you for the day with a modern small sink , glass shelf and bathroom mirror , all tastefully decorated with a contemporary grey tile pattern. There's is a desk to work from next to a mini fridge , on top of which are the complementary water, tea and coffee facilities. The TV, I think 32 inch ( flatscreen Samsung) is mounted on the wall which set a above a fixed hairdryer. Heating wise there is a large radiator, I didn't use this time , as the double glazed windows , with modern slats was easy to open for fresh air. WiFi is excellent, you can easily play call of duty mobile or watch your favourite film on your laptop. All in all tastefully decorated, kept very clean and I would recommend. You will not be disappointed. In addition there is a large kitchen area, should you require any additional items which is next to a dinning table leading on to the well manicured garden. The property itself is set in a quiet residential area of Morden with parking on or just off the property on the main road. It feels very safe with an electronic combination lock to the main front door. Matsuo is extremely welcoming and thoughtful of his guests and will leave you to get on with things. If you need anything else just ask or leave a note! I will be staying again and katolondonhaus is now my "go to" accommodation when I visit London from Suffolk. Alan , Suffolk.

Me and my 3 friends stayed here on separate months during the pandemic. Very clean and friendly at first glance however after a couple of weeks we all witnessed on separate occasions domestic violence from the wife towards her husband and got complaints for leaving breadcrumbs on the floor/table and open candy and crisp bags by the night table during daytime when going out. I also saw food stain on the wall and was accused of causing the stain before I left. The toilet wasn't flushing properly and when my friend stayed there after my recommendation he was accused of causing the food stain and breaking the toilet, they demanded money from my friend for half of the bill of the reparation. He also witnessed the domestic violence by the wife towards her husband on the backyard who acted oblivious to what me and other guests had witnessed. As this was during the pandemic it was difficult to find another guesthouse so we chose to stay quiet as we assumed they struggled financially at the time. The husband asked me to try and keep the room tidy as his wife gives him a hard time about any kind of mess or things being misplaced. However, later when I tried book with them again due to its location being near where I was needed, the husband kept saying they were full booked and refurbishing rooms. But when out of curiosity, I pretended to be someone else they had suddenly available rooms. I can only come to the conclusion that if you don't keep your room spotless 24/7 you'll be blacklisted.

We slept here for 4 nights in December 22. Good location, clean room and very nice and friendly host. Bus around the corner only 8 minutes from tube station Morden.

Rude people. Did not feel comfortable, cared for, and felt disrespected in stay. Very clean however.

We had a great stay at this well located and very lovely establishment. The owner, Mr. Kato, and his family were super helpful. The room was clean, had what was needed to enjoy our stay and the back garden is a beautiful place to relax after a hard days work. Looking forward to our next stay, thank you!
