Really nice helpful owners. Right next to Paddington station Lots of bars, restaurants and fast food in the same road. Really good value for London.

You can see Paddington station from hotel. We walked past it even though good signage outside. BEWARE! There carpeting on stairs needs replacing -- dirty. And if you have heavy baggage you will have a very hard time dragging it up stairs.xuz there is no lyft! A walk up to 5th floor would be ridiculous. Twin beds were comfy, sheets new and clean but tv did not work. Bathroom small but clean. Gentleman at front desk not too hospitable but the apparent owner was. We stayed there just the night night to catch Elizabeth Line to Heathrow. There is a great Lebanese restaurant across street opened til 11 perhaps.

Room was clean, very clean bedsheets and towels. Tea and coffee and kettle provided, tv in room. Shower was good also. Don’t know why the negative reviews, perfect location for Paddington, reception was nice. I had room 201. For what you pay. In London. I’d say it wasn’t bad at all.

The hotel is awful and I wouldn't recommend staying here. The rooms are full of dust and there is an issue with bed bugs. There's also no heating, the only heating is from a small fan heater which was inadequate given that the windows don't close properly. The toilet in the room I stayed in didn't flush and there was no hot water. This was more of a museum than a modern hotel.

The hotel room basic but good and spacious, very clean bed sheets , nice pillows and duvet, comfortable bed, nice hot shower. Friendly staff, super handy due to being so close to Paddington station. Close to restaurants and shops. If you go to London for sightseeing and back to sleep, for me it's a good priced hotel, I don't mind to have a basic nice room as long as it's clean and staff are nice and caring which it was my experience in Sophia Hotel.

Uncomfortable bed; no top mattress, so it was painful to sleep there. We eventually got an extra sheet to use as a duved, so we could lay on top of the duved, but a thin sheet gets cold at night. Very dirty all the way, from the entrance to the top floor. A lot of dust, dirty carpets at the stairs and the whole hotel smelled like cigarettes. Window would not close properly, but fortunately it was warm enough to leave the window open. Wi-Fi was bad, only working now and then. No soap and only one towel each. We didn't dare to try the waterboiler, or the breakfast (if it even was served breakfast?), so we went to the nearest café. Avoid this hotel! I had a nice stay, but only because of my boyfriend, the nice weather and the location of the hotel.

Wi-fi not working, Hairs in shower & bathroom, Bedbugs, Low-resolution TV, Dirty windows, unlocked doors when locked, Not clean. There were nits on the pillows, ended up not staying there, and went to a 4 1/2 star hotel.

This hotel was actually so vile we couldn’t even stay one night of the two nights we had booked. It was grotty and unclean. Facilities were nothing like what is advertised. The bathroom had mould, and the door did not have a lock and didn’t shut so if you’re staying as a couple would be forced to hear your partners business! There were also holes in the bathroom door! Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, would not stay again. Wish I had read more reviews and stayed away. The floor of the room was coming up in one place. So much dust around. “Tea and coffee facilities” was a kettle and some tea bags and sugar packets in a plastic box. Bring your own mug as there are none in the room. I was not comfortable at all in the room, didn’t even want to take my shoes off. Found elsewhere to stay so could be comfortable on my trip to London with my partner. Just don’t stay here. Pay a bit more and go elsewhere.
