The Bailey’s is a lovely hotel. Not big but elegant and quite traditional. Very convenient for the tube at Gloucester Road - just across the road. Many shops and restaurants close by or not too far. Our room was very small - so much so that we questioned if we had been put in a cosy double and not a classic. Shower room was very tiny too. We were on the first floor which was nice that we didn’t have to use the lift but the street is busy all the time. It didn’t keep us awake but can imagine it would if you were a light sleeper. We had an issue with a light over the desk flashing which we told staff about 5 times. It was never fixed - disappointing. The bedding is quality bedding which is important to me. Pillows too big for the pillow cases - they poked out of the ends. Would stay again - would definitely consider a larger room though.

I stayed at The Bailey’s Hotel London Kensington, and my experience was truly exceptional. The hotel has a fantastic location in the heart of Kensington and is just a short walk from Gloucester Road Station, making it extremely convenient for exploring London. The hotel also has a rich history and a charming heritage feel. Its classic architecture and elegant interior design give guests a unique sense of stepping back into British history. Anyone who appreciates historical atmospheres or traditional British style will truly enjoy the feeling of staying in such an iconic and old building. My room was very clean, spacious, and peaceful, with an extremely comfortable bed that made the stay relaxing after long days of sightseeing. I genuinely appreciate the hotel’s attention to detail, which reflects its high standards. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. A special thank-you goes to Gary, who showed exceptional professionalism and kindness throughout our stay. His support made the experience even better. Honestly, the hotel deserves five stars and more. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, elegant, and historically charming stay in the heart of London.

Absolutely lovey!! We will definitely be staying here again. The service was incredible, and the front desk was kind enough to upgrade our room as we were celebrating our anniversary (and gifted us cake to celebrate)! This hotel really made our London experience unforgettable and amazing. I couldn’t say enough good things about it — right next to the Underground, beautiful inside and out, great hotel and bar service (definitely a must try!), and genuinely amazing. Thank you again to the team!!!

Stunning exterior and interior of the hotel. The rooms are beautiful and they have this victorian feel to it. Granted it is not the biggest for the price (Around £190/245usd a night). The only complains were the room doors arent exactly sound proof. You can hear when your neighbours come back and you can hear if people are talking right outside. Probably because the room i stayed in(241) has a visible gap underneath the room door. The ventilation in the bath room dont seem to work well, if you take a hot shower, it fogs up the toilet pretty badly. I mentioned it to the counter staff for maintenance to check and was quickly brushed off with its normal, its like that. The location wise is excellent. It is literally right beside Gloucester station which has Piccadilly line to Heathrow airport. Great connectivity via Central/district lines to the city centre as well. There is a Tesco express just opposite and a larger Sainsbury's supermarket around a 8 mins walk away. Multiple food options are within stone throw. Just the location alone deserves 5 stars. Overall I had a rather pleasant stay.

Over the years we have stayed in numerous hotels on our trips to London, and the Bailey’s quickly became our favorite once we discovered it. The staff is always friendly and extremely accommodating. On our most recent visit, Oksana at the front desk, greeted us at check-in with such politeness and enthusiasm, we felt immediately welcomed back. The location is fantastic, with a tube station right across the street serving the Piccadilly, Circle and District lines, which is great for easy access to all the major attractions, shopping areas and other transportation hubs. The rooms are always well-kept and comfortable. This hotel has our highest recommendation for any London visitor’s stay.

Such a great feel and look to this classic hotel just 170 feet from the tube and walkable to so much we love in London. We travel a lot for work and usually are at high end chain hotels that look like they could be anywhere. Not so here, you are definitely in South Kensington. Outstanding staff, well thought out room. We will be staying again on future trips for sure.

I would thoroughly recommend the Bailey's hotel. It's location is amazing, the room we had was spacious and clean (shower was lush and hot), the breakfast is big and tasty, we were upgraded as soon as we got there and could check-in 2hrs earlier than check in time. I honestly don't have a bad word to say about it. If we need to come back to this area of London (or maybe even if we don't) we would stay here again. Great place.

Had a lovely stay here recently in a twin double room. Hotel has a lot of character, looks the part for the area and is well located for local venues. Room was clean and tidy and well equipped with a decent size TV, room fridge and other expected amenities. Staff were very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. I would be happy to stay here again in the future.
