Conveniently located near to central London and an Underground station. Room was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly

August 2024: We had an extremely pleasant stay in this hotel. We appreciated that our room had been fully refurbished and that our window was facing the smaller side street, not Edgware Road. Daily cleaning of room and change of towels, complimentary tea and coffee amenities, relatively big TV screen, very good bathroom. There is a staff member at the reception desk 24/7, and all the staff members were very friendly. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so we cannot say anything about that. The immediate area to the left of the hotel is very Arabic, that‘s true. But it did not bother us at all. To the right you take a few steps and are by the canal and in Little Venice. We recommend the bar Vagabond for wine or beer and the restaurant/ café boat Darcie & Mae Green for a drink in Little Venice in the evening and the 101 Church Street Café for budget-friendly and very good full English breakfast in "Little Beirut“. Update August 2025: Because we liked our stay so much last year, we decided to stay at the same hotel again for a couple of days in August 2025. We enjoyed our stay as much as we did last year. This time we booked it including breakfast. The breakfast was simple but really OK, especially considering the low costs. It is true that the Wi-Fi is not very good, but it didn‘t bother us.

We are currently staying at this hotel and unfortunately, our experience has been seriously affected by the unreliable internet connection in our room. We've been reporting this issue for four consecutive days, and while staff initially showed good will, the problem remains unresolved. We are a couple of remote workers, and internet access is not optional for us, it's essential. We work during evening/night hours (local time) to match our home time zone, and we made this need very clear from the start. Despite this, Wi-Fi in our room hasn’t worked at all, and we’ve had to constantly seek alternatives. On the first day, the front desk contacted IT to reset the modem, which slightly improved things for a short while. That night, the issue returned. We were told nothing could be done until the next morning. The next day, the manager visited our room and managed to get the signal working again — but again, only temporarily. Every evening since, the internet in our room has been unusable. We've continued to raise the issue daily. We were advised to work from the dining area, which is not suitable at all — there are people eating, coming and going, talking, and it lacks the privacy and quiet needed for work calls. We requested a room change, since we noticed that Wi-Fi works in other parts of the hotel, but were told the hotel was full and we couldn’t be moved. Today, we saw an empty room on our floor, tested the connection there and confirmed that the internet works. I asked again if we could move and was told no — the room was reserved, and changing guests would affect housekeeping’s routine. Meanwhile, housekeeping was clearly working on our floor. Today, I also requested to speak with the manager, and was told they were not in and no contact information was provided. Over the past few days, we’ve received different excuses, from network congestion at night to claims that Wi-Fi is a “free service” and therefore we shouldn’t expect quality. But the truth is: the internet doesn’t work at any time of day, and it's listed as an included amenity, one we specifically chose this hotel for. I’ve also read that other guests have raised similar concerns in the past, and the hotel’s replies promise improvements — but nothing seems to have changed. While working from the dining area, I’ve even overheard other guests complaining about the same issue. To be fair, if internet access is not a priority for you, the room itself is spacious, clean, and comfortable, in that sense, the hotel meets expectations. I’m also part of the Choice Hotels loyalty program, and this experience has unfortunately left me disappointed. What’s most frustrating is that I’ve brought this issue up multiple times during my stay, giving the hotel several opportunities to provide a solution in real time, rather than wait for a standard “We’re sorry” message after I leave. I would have much preferred to resolve this directly while I’m still here.

Location is pretty nice, well connected. But sometimes some crimes near by. Rooms are tiny, but clean. The breakfast is a nightmare. Cheapest toast bread, one type of low quality ham. One type of worst cheese, some yogurt, eggs and these all for 10 £.

I chose to stay at the Comfort Inn due to its affordable nightly rate. However, my experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, the exterior entrance was noticeably littered, which created a poor first impression. In my room, the air conditioning unit was not functioning, and despite multiple reports to the front desk, the issue was never resolved. Additionally, the dimmer light switch was faulty, frequently fluctuating between brightness levels on its own. Housekeeping did not replenish the shower soap, and empty food and drink containers were left behind after the room was cleaned daily. The toilet seat was also loose and unstable, which added to the discomfort. The street outside my room was also very noisy, which made it difficult to rest comfortably. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations, and several aspects of the service and maintenance fell short of acceptable standards.

Kind staff, perfect location, cheap rooms and nice standard :). I kinda dont understand bad opinions, because I was there for 5 days and everything was perfect. I even left my money, laptop and phone when they were cleaning rooms and everything was just like I left it. Sometimes you need to wait for hot water especially on the 4th floor but that is just gravity, not owners fault.

I stayed at this hotel during my trip to London and i was lucky to stay at their newly refurbished double room, I was extremely happy with the room size, the cosy bed, usb charging bed side socket was convenient for charging, big size smart tv in the room was a bonus in addition to the other amenities. My check in was very smoothly dealt with after a long flight, thanks to the awesome front desk staff and the Management. Overall the hotel is in the best location with close links to transportation, restaurants and departmental stores. My stay also included continental breakfast which was well organised by the F&B team. Thank you to Comfort Inn Edgware team, see you all very soon in the near future.

Pretty awful hotel. Very dated, feels a bit prison-esque. The area doesn’t feel that nice either. Not the hotel’s fault but there were chavs booming out music outside in their cars at 3am (on a Monday night). Worth knowing as it’s indicative of the area the hotel is in. I checked out early due to illness, but I would have considered checking out early to stay somewhere else anyway…

Good value and close to the underground station. First night was quiet. Second and third nights we realized having people above you was horrible as you can hear every step as the whole ceiling creaks.

Hotel room was clean and bed comfortable enough. Interior of the room was in need of updating and looked a bit tired. Location is ok and close to bus stops and train stations.
