Can anyone tell me if they are still open?

Friendly staff, clean and very simple rooms. Very central, next tube station is three minutes of walk away, with the tube you can go to the centre of London very fast. Disturbing was the noisy street and that the room was very hot because there is no air conditioning. The breakfast is simple but okay. I personally wouldn't come back because it was so loud during the nighttime but for people searching for a cheap and central stay and don't have a problem with the noise (or could sleep with closed windows) I'd definitely recommend it.

A good size and fairly comfortable room. Was overlooking a main road and very close to to Finsbury Park, but hardly any noise was heard. A nice selection for the continental breakfast. A couple of minor faults though - the shower took ages to get right and the stairs were very noisy. Other than that would recommend.

Room was spacious, comfortable and clean, but a bit on the basic side, good for the price. Great location with lots of shops and takeways open late. Breakfast was toast and cereal, basic but satisfactory. Cleaning staff very kindly let us lay in on the check out day and didn't disturb us until 3, but the receptionist was a little snappy. All in all we would go back.

Location is great, really close to tube line and in Zone 2 so not far to anything. Also has everything you need in a 5 min walk if you just wanted to buy a couple of bits or have food or drink in Finsbury Park itself. The hotel itself is completely fine for an overnight stay. On first impressions it didn't seem great, reception area could do with some love and the atmosphere was quiet and a bit awkward. Just a bit dated and felt like the entrance to a council flat building, however the room itself was great for a quick stay over. Clean and well maintained with an ensuite and enough room to keep a few bits. Smallish but not cramped at all for a 2 person stay, especially if you don't plan on spending time in the hotel on your visit. Private parking, reasonably priced for London. Walls are definitely thin though, used the do not disturb sign but was kept awake most of the morning by housekeeping going into every other room around us. Overall a decent stay.

The hotel is absolutely nothing like the pictures. The first room we were in was tiny. they expected two people to share what amounted to a single bed, with a grubby shower, no wardrobe or any hanging facilities for clothes. it was also up 8 flights of stairs as the lift didn't work and I walk with a walking stick. We got moved down to a twin room on the ground floor (which was good) except that the floor outside the room was uneven and unfinished so any time someone walked past it sounded like an elephant walking past our room, shaking the bed and the toilet. there was no disabled access to the hotel, breakfast room or rooms. a "continental" breakfast includes more than toast and cereal. the reception staff were rude. the hotel was halfway through renovations when we arrived with plaster dust on the floor, holes in walls, workmen walking around and the smell of paint everywhere "free wifi" a joke unless you're prepared to sit in the reception to gain access
