   Great hotel, we stayed on the 9th floor between 24-31/12/2025 and housekeeping were fantastic, rooms were clean, towels and coffee capsules replenished daily. The reception staff were all very helpful and welcoming. location is good with aldgate east station right next to the hotel. Rooms can use a bigger/better wardrobe/closet, had a small AC issue and a day with no hot water but nothing too serious. Great staff and hotel.

   I really enjoyed my most recent week stay at the Clayton Hotel City of London. I arrived to London at 9am, which was entirely too early for the 3pm check in time. However I was able to drop off my bags and go explore the city for a bit. Tower Bridge was within walking distance, so I got to do a little sight seeing in advance. The room is a pretty decent size for a European hotel. It was also very clean, which made the stay even more comfortable. During my stay, the air conditioning in my room unfortunately stopped working properly. The very kind manager (I believe her name was Andrea or Andreiana, sorry?) was very quick to offer a solution. She informed me all of the rooms that evening were booked up, so she had maintenance bring up a fan to my room and also offered complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience. The following night, she moved me to a different room which didn’t have the same exact problem. However I realized that the A/C in Europe is nothing like America, so let that be a caution for fellow travelers. The hotel is right next to the Aldgate East tube station, which made getting all around London super easy. I would stay here again and recommend for fellow travelers for sure. I would advise the hotel to work on the air conditioning though, as I am a hot sleeper and woke up sweaty a few nights. Especially for us Americans that are used to central air everywhere.

   We absolutely loved this hotel. It is in a great location and the service was excellent The staff were all friendly and very helpful The room was immaculate, and well presented. Ours was a double room, and it wasnt huge, but it was perfect for us We would definitely recommend this hotel, amd would happily stay again ourselves

   Another fantastic stay at Clayton hotel city of London last night. We stayed in the presidential suite. It was lovely spotlessly clean. The room is spacious and lovely decorated. We ate in the restaurant last night and again for breakfast this morning. The evening menu is every nice and we enjoyed everything we had. The breakfast wow, the options. There's near enough everything you'd possibly want to have for breakfast there. It's buffet style so you can pick what you want. As always the staff are extremely polite and accommodating to any request. Overall a complete 5 star stay. Thank you and we will be back soon.

   Dear colleagues of the Dalata Group, I had the honour of staying in your hotel for the first time, and it was an incredible experience! I’m very thankful to Raj at the reception for his positivity, hospitality, and kindness. The breakfast was amazing, and I truly appreciated the warm hospitality from the entire team. The room was beautiful, comfortable, atmospheric and spotless — I couldn’t have asked for more. Location is great, the area of the hotel is quite, cost of value is incredible, atmosphere is warm. A special and huge thank you for the room upgrade, it made my stay even more memorable. Thank you from my heart!

   The hotel was a lovely, clean, fresh, very friendly place for a family with young kids. The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel in a long time. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door they would say hello to us and the kids. They were very accommodating when it came to the kids anything they asked for they got it for them and even more. The dedication all the staff and management have towards their guest in the hotel I have never seen that hardworking and dedication towards their job in any hotel before. Thank you for providing the best customer service we will definitely coming back soon and will recommend this place to anyone

   Amazing hotel, great location - across road from Aldgate East tube station. Lots of things go do and see in this area - Sunday market was on nearby. Hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, especially Sam and The breakfast was beautiful - you just go up and help yourself to cereal and the hot buffet. There is a good selection available - bacon, sausage, scrambled egg, hash browns, beans, mushrooms etc. Lots of different types of bread / cake available and coffee / hot chocolate etc from a machine. The bedrooms were bigger than a lot of the hotels I’ve been to before and really modern and clean. The shower was really good and there were no unwelcome noises when we wanted to sleep. We would not hesitate to return to this hotel. Paul & Jo.

   Comfy Room, Fantastic Staff.  Generate a review of a great hotel, with very comfortable room, fantastic reception staff in particular Miriam. If you're looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, I highly recommend checking out the hotel with Miriam at the reception. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by Miriam and her team, who made sure that my stay was unforgettable. The room itself was one of the most comfortable I've ever stayed in, with a plush bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. The decor was modern and chic, with all the amenities I needed to feel right at home. From the spacious closet to the large flat-screen TV, every detail was thoughtfully considered to make my stay as comfortable as possible. But what really stood out to me was the fantastic service provided by Miriam and her staff. They were always on hand to answer any questions I had and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was as enjoyable as possible. Whether it was recommending the best restaurants in town or helping me plan my day, they were always ready to help. Overall, I had an excellent stay at this hotel with Miriam at the reception, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the area. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff is fantastic, and I can't wait to stay here again on my next visit.

   Overall, the hotel is one of the best for it’s price range, the city center proximity is great for exploring and walking around main attractions. The cleanness and room service was great and organized. Staff were all kind, calm and very helpful. I would of loved to have a bit more variety in breakfast, as a change every couple of days. Thank you for making our London’s first stay special!

   Good location, very close to the underground. Rooms were very nicely decorated and big. Staff friendly. Buffet breakfast was also nice. Ordered room service twice but one of the orders was turned down for some reason, perhaps due to the time (9pm). All in all would be looking to stay here again
